Levi's POV
--
"What now hanji..?" The vampire male looked down at the paperwork in front of him. He sighed, only looking up a glance to the brunette/red haired female standing at the doorway.
"Levi, don't give me that, we need to go up!" She said in an upset tone at first, then to the excited and joyful tone.
"Wait a little longer." He demanded, looking back down to the papers. "But the people here are dying!" The woman in the red-ish jacket and long brown pants over exadurated on the point.
"Fine." He thought about how many people he was practically letting down, most of the people would be gone inside. The woman jumped up and had a large grin on, smiling from ear to ear -not literally, just a really big annoying smile.
"Thank you, commander." She said before leaving to tell the many -thousands maybe- of people who he had power and choice over. Levi huffed, rolling his eyes and getting up off the well cushioned chair he was sheeted upon.
Walking further and further from the papers that held anxieties and insecurities that he had, he opened the door. Walking along the hardwood floors, matched with sympathetic cold grey walls. The low middle of the wall -around 3'7- was furnished with a patterned outline, below the outline or furnish was painted a soft red with patterns of Hanji's choosing.
Not after very long, the raven got to the main dorm, the two doors dividing the underground castle-like-building to the main building where people eat, to the shops where people buy food.
Some vampires are different here, Although we classify ourselves, we are still the same; killers.
Levi opened the doors, revealing many, thousands of people, wearing dark clothes, and holding ropes and some kind of paralyzing tool. Everyone who was paid to kill here had them, people who were just out to kill did too. People of the town who just got humans for a blood sacrifice would be contained.
I didn't think much of it. We kept ourselves decently hidden, hidden enough that people of the above believed that down here was some kind of legend.
"Are you ready?" Hanji said from beside me, making people scream out in frustration and anxiousness.
The noise died down, then the raven spoke up. "Do not take children. Anyone who does, is in the Sunlight Stone till otherwise. Now, Let us all have fun." The noise rose, which made Levi cringe.
He didn't mind noise, but at times like this, you can't help it. It gets too much.
The people rushed out in herds and groups, groups of groups. Within the position they chose to be in, they were divided.
Example, Levi, is the soon to be Heir of the throne of the caves, the underground. Within the colony his great grandfather had created to save them, there were three divisions. Hunters, who were paid to kill. Thieves who killed for no good reason. And Chasers, who found people for blood diners. Within these three, people made smaller groups, either it be female and male divided groups, or just by skill.
Soon through day dreaming, he came back with the red-headed brunette shaking him. "Levi sir, get a grip! You need to go up too. Not just sulk around." She insisted, turning off an walking.
He knew she was right and that he needed air. The male soon complied, walking after her.u
Levi excelled his speed, practically lunging foreword quickly. He pushed against his foot, then against the other, making him go faster than a normal human being, faster than what lived on the surface. In just a few seconds he caught up with the female, walking beside her.
"You know you should smile. Its been so long since you've smiled you know." He made a light 'tch' sound, as if he didn't -and wouldn't- believe her.
"You say that as if I were damaged from something." He scowled. And turned the corner of the street, heading to the stairs.
Day dreaming and walking bluntly, he envisioned something. When that something got more clear, he saw it was a someone. As to what gender that someone was was unclear.
"Levi?! C'mon!" Hanji was yet again, shaking Levi's shoulders. He rolled his eyes, keeping a blank expression. Walking and going up the stairs he pushed on his feet, making it all the way up many hundreds of stairs. Getting up and squatting down where the moon was finally to be seen, he pushed off, springing into the air.
He landed not that far away, on the roof of a building. Levi closed his eyes as they turned, his head tilting back as his fangs grew.
It's not like every night they get to go out.
Levi had opened his eyes after a while, seeming they were blood red. The heir owner, was of the Thieves, he'd kill on sight. Drinking on the blood of an innocent victim.
He heard a door open from afar, the creek of it catching his attention.
He squatted again, springing further this time as he made way to the building.
A holy land? He questioned as he came upon the alone person.
Ones not enough.. Through the moonlight, like in that dream or vision, the someone was there.
"Mine!" One younger man yelled, launching for the brunette human. Levi leaped after him, grabbing the other Thieve by his shoulders and pinning him to the ground. "No, this ones mine." He growled, barring back his fangs.
Levi got up and off the Thieve, turning and looking at the brunette.
It was more than obvious that he was scared, he was shaking. The brunette moved into a defensive stance, wearing just a plain white shirt and black pants.
'Too bad I'm gunna ruin them.'
Levi started to walk up to him, but he just got shakier. Bushes in front the church were broken, and pushed over from the raven and the other Vampire. But him having more power, gained this one.
"Come here." He demanded, wondering what he was going to do.
"You are not of this legion.. Of this reign even.." He mumbled, just so clearly that he could make our the words of the boy.
"No."
