Chapter Six

AN, before I start you off again. If you follow me on ig, you probably know, but I'm not currently living with my parent, so I'm with my grandparents. Updates will be slow, but I'll get there, sooner or later.
I also want to shout out, yummy_heichou / Titan aka, Loree. She's been here for me through thick and thin. And I couldn't have asked to become friends with someone as passionate, loving, and protective as her.

Eren POV

Eren shifted around with very suttle movement. He was curled up at the headboard of the new-ish bed. He yawned and went to go sit up when something grabbed his wrist, and pulled him from the warm and most comfortable spot he was in.

"Why are humans so weird, they sleep all night and are up all day?" A demanding voice said over head of him and shook him softly.

"Why are humans always inside at night? Why are they sleeping then?" The raven yawned making Eren assume it was morning above, between the questions, the older male and his army, he could only question himself and not them seeing as he was the one taken hostage. Eren mumbled a few words, "What..?" Opening one eye slightly.

The raven male had leaned foreword and grabbed the brunettes chin forcefully before leaning in and kissing him passionately. Eren looked up at him, shocked and surprised, he had almost let out a scream of disbelief. No one has ever kissed him, only his mother had. He wondered if this male had been like his mother, looking after him.  It could be a possibility, seeing as how above in front the church, he had told the other hunger-thirsty, blood sucking things off.

The raven had finally pulled back, and smirked as Eren looked the opposite way. "Will you tell me now?" He grinned.

"Humans sleep during the night, because the crops in the day need to be harvested, the animals on farms sleep during the night as well, the daytime gets warmer, as nights can be chilly. Some people prefer it to be warmer outside.." He stated and started to blush brightly, after saying such things he yawned, though the kiss had woken him up from pure shock. He didn't know exactly how to explain human life to something that looks just like his own race, but they weren't the same.

Nodding his head, Levi looked down to him and smiled.

"Now, what do you want to know about me, and our race?" He asked.

Nows my chance. To ask what's been on my mind, like why take me? Of all people. Why me? He thought, and yawned again.

"Which position are you in? Why do you go up at night when everyone is sleeping? Why keep yourselves hidden?" He asked quietly.

"I am leader, taken after my father who had died when I was young. We go in the night, because my father had died in the daylight. Some of us thought none of it, and decided to still go in the light. When I became ruler, I vowed that no one else of my race shall die. I wouldn't watch anyone else die, the way my father had. We keep ourselfs hidden, because of out fate, some don't accept us. Others might try to kill us. Our eyes, go crimson red when we desire something, or something we know we can't achieve." He explained.

"What's your race?.." Eren asked cautiously, still sitting among the bed.

"I'm part vampire. Born from human mother, vampire father. Nothing in our rules opposed that we couldn't fall in love with humans."he stopped then continued after a brief moment if breath.
"Your fire, courage, and strength has drawn me towards you, Eren. I want-"

"No." Eren interrupted the raven, looking shocked towards him. Eren went to go and stand before looking at Levi. He turned away from him. "I'm not into male's, I'm sorry to break it to you. I have to go and take care of my family. The young boy you all frightened, my sister, and my best friend. No one really knows, about you all. And that's how it should stay." Eren stated again, it almost broke his heart to deny the one person who has came out to him, reached for help, thought he was the one to lead with him. Eren didn't know what he was into, males, females or even both. He never really payed any attention to it.

Though the complements were nice in all, he couldn't accept it. He had a place where he belonged. Not here underground. He belonged above, caring for everyone, not for people who used humans for blood.

"But it's not. Because if your by my side, the vampires, and humans can live in peace, together. I don't want suffering." Levi grabbed Eren's arms and shook him. "Why don't you understand! People look at you, believe in you!"

Eren had never noticed, he was always angry, protective, and had the fire in his eyes. Anyone who had taken, or hurt someone he loved, he would have found them and killed them on the spot. It wasn't till Armin's grandfather, had shown then the church that he had been angry.

He had let lose some anger, though the anger for the ones who killed his mother still stayed. He tried not to be angry, he did. But it didn't help, much. He was still mad at the things that had taken her away, same with Mikasa's parents.

Eren got up, disbelieving that he had been here this long. He shook his head and went for the door, forgetting all about the raven, his thoughts being interrupted.

"Hey. You know you can't leave, right?" The voice from the raven came out as unamused. Eren looked back at him, seeing as he crossed his arms and scowled. "Tch, brat. Do you ever listen?" He insisted and started t walk closer to him.

"Yes I do listen. Just- stay away from me." Eren muttered and backed up till he hit the door. 

Levi had come up to him, making the younger brunette cower down, just below his height. The facial expression on the raven face had practically scared him off. But he couldn't move, the door handle would hurt him, and the raven was blocking the way in front him.

"Now listen, you are mine and belong here. If you agree, I may just let you go up to see your friends, got it?"
