Picture of Tate
Tate's P.O.V. (He's the Alpha)
Uh I hate this godforsaken town. There's hardly any woods so it's impossible to let my wolf roam free without anyone noticing.
Back in Australia there's practically nothing but woods where I live. But I guess we'll just have to suck it up and deal with it until we leave.
"Tate," Mason, my beta, said from behind.
I turned around to face him.
"What?" I asked, irritated.
"Everything's in the motel. If all goes the same we should be out of here in two days. That should give you enough time to scope out the town and all the females in it."
"I hate this town."
"Yeah well you're the one who decided to go on this trip to find your mate. I hated Canada but you made me go there with you too. Honestly I don't get why we're still looking. Maybe she's back in Australia. Who knows maybe she's moving around like we are. She could be in places we've already visited!"
"We're not giving up until-" I stopped myself when I sniffed the air or more like sniffed Mason. "Dude what are you wearing. You smell like strawberries and lavender."
"Are you serious?" He asked sniffing himself. "Ugh it must've been that one girl who hid behind me when her ex was chasing her. Ugh now I smell like a chick."
"You don't smell that bad. It actually smells kind of good."
"Good? It smells like crap. How do you find this stuff to smell good unless...oh my god what if that girl was your mate? It would make since why only you think it smells good! Because that's you mate's scent! Oh god hopefully she is then we can get out of this hellhole and go home."
"Then shut up and help me track her down. Do you know where she lives?" I asked eagerly.
God I so badly want to find my mate. You're suppose to find your mate once you're sixteen but not for me since I'm now twenty two and still haven't found mine yet.
"No I don't. She wouldn't let me give her a ride home. But I do know what she looks like so at least we've got something to go on. Oh and I think the crazy ex said her name was Maddie."
"Maddie." I repeated, my wolf purring at the sound of her name.
"Oh yeah she's definitely your mate. Now come on. The sooner we find her the sooner we can leave."

"We've been walking around this bloody town for hours and we still haven't found her yet!" I growled, annoyed that I can't find my mate anywhere.
"She has to be here somewhere. She was walking home from school so that means she couldn't live very far away. Let's just keep looking. Someone had to know her." Mason said.
I rolled my eyes and inhaled deeply before catching the scent of strawberries and lavender. God did I really find her.
I began following the scent, walking the opposite direction as Mason.
"Mate where the bloody hell are you going?" Mason yelled as I continued walking towards a small cafe down the street.
As I came closer to the scent my wolf got more eager and jumpy.
She's close by. I can feel it. Go to mate! Find mate! My wolf said.
I began walking faster until I reached the window where a saw a small girl, maybe around the age of fifteen sitting on one of the plush chairs talking to another girl her age.
