Picture of Maddie's Outfit
"Maddie are you sure you're okay. I can take you home if you want." my best friend Lexi offered.
"Lex, I'm fine. I'm just trying not to think about it." I grabbed my books from my locker and closed it.
"How can you not think of it when he's literally ten feet away from you in class."
We made our way towards home room and she just had to bring up Mark.
"It happened. There's nothing I can do to change what happened."
"I can get someone from the football team to beat him up for you."
"One he's the captain of the football team; no ones gonna beat him up. Two, can we please just not talk about this. Bringing him up reminds me of..."
"Your mom?" She asked sincerely.
"Yeah." I mumble.
"I'm sorry I just can't believe he would do just do something like that, especially after your mom..."
"Died. It's okay you can say the word. And yes it sucks that Mark decided to rape me a week after but I just got to get over it."
"Okay but if you want someone to talk to I'm here, okay?"
"Okay."

School was over and my dad was caught up at work to drive me home so that meant I was stuck walking. Lexi would've taken me home except the fact that she had to stay after to make up an exam she missed.
So here I am walking down the sidewalk in direction of my house.
It would take me probably about 15 minutes to get home.
I adjusted my bag strap on my shoulder when his car, with the music blasting, came speeding up and pulled over beside me.
"Hey babe, need a ride?" He smirked and drove the car slowly along the sidewalk to keep up with me walking.
"No thanks. I'm fine." I tried my best to ignore him.
"Aw come on baby. I'll give you a lift. I've missed you."
"No you've missed raping me."
"Don't put it that way. You know you wanted it just as much as I did."
"Yeah maybe in a couple months but you forced me to have sex with you a week after my mother died!"
"Please get over it and just get in the damn car!"
"No Mark! Just stay the hell away from me!" I picked up my pace.
When he didn't respond I thought he was going to leave but instead he parked his car and got out of the drivers seat.
No no no...
I started running as fast as my legs could carry me. It was probably pointless considering the fact that he plays football so he has good stamina and will easily be able to catch up to me.
His footsteps were getting louder which meant he was getting closer. I took a sharp right turn right into the driveway of the motel and thankfully there was a guy outside by his truck getting a box out of the back.
"Oh my god please help me!" I gasped for air as I hid behind the guy.
"Okay okay calm down." He replied, trying to calm me down.
"You have to help me. He's gonna get me." I panted.
"Who? Who's gonna get you?"
Right then and there Mark rounded the corner and ran up to us.
