Tate's P.O.V.

God she so beautiful but why the hell does she have to be so difficult‽

She's human you idiot. She doesn't know about werewolves. Just tell her already. I want my mate to know. My wolf said.

I do too but I don't want her to be scared of us more than she already is.

My wolf growled in annoyance and I ignored him.

I kept walking towards the pack meeting room. My father called an emergency meeting and all the highest rank pack members were invited.

I opened the doors to the room and walked in, everyone standing up to greet me.

"Alpha," everyone said bowing.

I gestured for everyone to take a seat and took my seat at the head of the table.

"What's the issue?" I asked.

"Some rogues were spotted outside the border." My father said.

"And we think some of them might of gotten inside the territory." Mason added. "We haven't heard from a couple of the patrolling men in a while."

I growled. "Well why are you in here telling me this instead of out there looking for them?"

"We just wanted to tell you before we do anything since you've recently found your mate." My father answered. "And we wanted you to be aware of the situation for her safety."

"Thank you. You're dismissed."

Everyone parted and I went back upstairs to my mate.

Something's wrong. My wolf informed me.

What do you mean something's wrong? What's wrong?

Mate. He growled.

I ran upstairs to the door of my room and found it broken down and broken furniture everywhere.

Fuming, I roared.

"Maddie!"

Maddie's P.O.V.

*fifteen minutes earlier*

Okay that's it. I don't know how many more times I can be locked in this room for no reason.

That's what happens when you're kidnapped.

True. God Maddie you're such an idiot. I thought while face palming myself.

But I don't feel kidnapped

Well I am and its time to get away from this dreadful place.

Okay so doors are locked and I have no keys and no bobby pins. How the hell do I get out?

Windows.

I ran over to the windows and started pulling them open but they wouldn't budge.

Damn they're locked. And plus we're way too high up in order for me to get down.

I groaned. Enough is enough Maddie.

I picked up one of the chairs in the room and threw it t the door in attempt to open it but it just broke.

Letting out a cry of frustration I grabbed another one and did the same as I did with the first one. Again it broke.

I began throwing everything at the door. Dresser drawers, lamps, another chair.
