Chapter 4

EMERY'S POV

I walked closer and I saw that she looked like she was about to cry so I rushed to her side as fast as I could.

DJ'S POV

My eyes started getting watery because I started thinking about losing Ricky if I told him I had feelings for him and that I wanted to be more than just friends. Soon I felt someone next to me I looked up and I saw it was Emery and as soon as he saw my face he pulled me into a hug and I started sobbing into his shoulder after I calmed down he asked what was wrong and I stayed quiet for a while until I finally answered him "Emery I fell in love with my best friend again" I sai . He just looked at me shocked, confused, and happy ? Hmm that was weird. " wait what do you mean by again " he asked oh crap I said again.... Okay might as well tell him right "okay I've liked Ricky before I just didn't say anything because I was scared to lose him and I was sacred of rejection and that's when I met Jim he and I started talking and I started to develop feelings for him or at least I thought I did but I think it was more to forget about ricky that is until I actually had feelings for Jim then he broke up with me and now I realize that all this time I've been in love with Ricky" as I finished saying this I looked up at Emery to see him with a sad smile that then was replaced with a really happy smile then his phone vibrated. My phone died after I texted Emery saying where I was. I looked at him and I see that he looks upset I asked him what was wrong and he just liked at me sadness flashed in his eyes "Emery what's wrong ? You look really sad" I said he just sighed and handed me his phone I took it and saw what it was. It was a photo of Ricky. But this photo it wasn't just Ricky with one of the boys it was Ricky with a girl and the caption said *meet my girlfriend* and I swear in that moment I felt my heart break all over again and I just cried while Emery held me. As soon as I calmed down a bit Emery got a phone call it was Ricky. He answered sounding slightly irritated with Ricky. "Yes I'm with Dj is that a problem ?" He said I looked at him with curiosity in my eyes he looked at me and smiled a really big smile. "You know what Ricky why don't you keep talking to your girlfriend while I hanging with Dj because you're interrupting my time with a really beautiful girl who may I add is single" when he said this I gave him a wtf look and he just smiled at me when he hung up "okay what was that about ? Spill it" was all I said. "Ricky has been in love with you as well but he thinks he doesn't have a chance with you so he got a girlfriend to try to get over you. When he said that my heart skipped a beat. Ricky likes me ? "I only said that to make him jealous to see if he really likes the girl he's with or if he is just using her I mean it's pretty obvious that she's using him and the fans love you they ship you and Ricky together for Christ sake !" (Sorry if you're religious and found that offensive) I smiled "so are you planning to make Ricky jealous with me ?" I asked him " oh yeah" he said with such a determined tone that made it impossible for me to say no. "Alright fine I'm in" was all I said before the plan Make Ricky Jealous was in action
