Chapter 2

The first 2 sessions of the day went as slow as fuck. Firstly, science, especially chemistry, was a waste of my time and a waste of the precious oxygen Mr Vagona is always banging on about. Not to mention that he is a complete and utter ass hole and I would like to drown him it a vat of Hydrochloric acid (how about that for irony?). Second session I had English, I don't really hate the teacher or the subject, I just don't like the people in the class. I couldn't wait to escape from the torture that is the world.

Recess I found my herd, Rose, Jace, Mason andLeon sitting on the grass in the centre of the school. I walk up and found, nosurprisingly, Rose and Leon wrapped in one another play tonsil hockey. "Umm,Arg GROSS! Get a room!" I yell and laugh at them.
"Already got one." Leon winks at me and resumes making out with rose as I sitdown in-between Mason and Jace. "Where's Lil?" I ask getting my drink bottleout of my bag and taking a sip.
"Surprise, surprise, she got detention." Jace said with ultimate sarcasm.
"What did she do this time?" Raising my voice a little, wondering what thetroublemaker could get into within one hour. 

"Whoa calm down! She just didn't hand her homework in, you know how much of anasshole Mr Vagona is. Speaking of, how are you? You were a bit weird in scienceearlier." Mason always had a soft spot for me and always knows when somethingwas wrong. But it's not like I could tell him that I'm half angel with glowingwings and a vampire that doesn't feed on blood but when pissed off can biteyour face off. Ha! No chance.
"Nah, I'm fine just..." I couldn't put the words together and Mason lookedworried, when he was about to ask again he was interrupted by Lilli huffing andpuffing about how she is going to kill everyone that every pissed her off... somost people. "You okay babe?" I ask her. I'm the only one who she can't staymad at.
"Fucking hell!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. "Fuck Mr Vagona and hisstupid rules and stupid homework."
"So Lil...how was science?" Jace asked with the most detectible sarcasm ever.
"While I'm at it, fuck you too Jace." Lilli said with a smile, and started toopen her school bag and get out her lunch. 

"Ha! You wish." Jace whispered, winking and getting up to walk over to sitbeside his girlfriend. Sometimes Mason and I would make fun of them, seeing is thathim and I were the only ones not in a relationship within our group. Of causeit was weird and sometimes awkward, but I always knew Mason liked me as morethan a friend, but I didn't care, I had those feelings for him as well.
"Hey," Mason said nudging me. "What are you thinking so hard about?"
"Nothing." You, I thought.

"Good, because I need to ask you something." Mason whispered, so no one elsecould hear. "Do you want to go out with me tonight?" I could clearly see thathe was uncomfortable and was extremely nervous. And of cause, I had to make itworse and open my big gob and ask.
"Like a date?" OMG! I thought tomyself, he is your friend; he wouldn't wantit to be a date. You are just friends...just friends. Without hesitation hewhispered,
"Yes, like a date." I knew I didn't have to think it through. As soon as heasked I knew I would say yes. So as soon as I did the bell rang for the end ofthe break. Off to Math. YAY (note sarcasm)
