Your Love
It's quite hilarious that I've fallen
To someone who has the world,
Yet I tried to depend
On the answers you behold.
I wonder what made me fall.
Is it because of your beauty?
I can't criticize something truly.
I'm not an aesthete after all.
I wonder what made me feel this way.
Is it because of your care?
I don't deserve something that fair ?
Since I lie to myself every day,
But they're not those -
They're not the answers I seek.
They were the answers I used to believe
Until the wind grew and rose.
Finally, I knew what they were.
They were not what I expected.
I didn't want this, but it happened.
It was your love, and now I'm sure.
Your love is like the sea
That flows through Earth gently
Just like what you did to me.
Your love made my soul calm and free.
Your love is like the clouds above
That no one could ever have
Though it can be felt by the doves -
The doves of purity and love.
Your love is like a plateau
That can only be experienced by a few.
Up there, it's sure is a majestic view,
And it makes me happy once I see you.
Your love is like everything else
Like the sandy beaches filled with pearls,
Like love letters picked up from mails,
Like nothing ever narrated through old tales.
Though you have given me these feelings,
Am I worthy of your doings?
Am I worthy of what I have?
Am I worthy of your love?
I sure hope that I am worthy
Because your love had given me life
To continue living forth this journey.
