I walk all the way to the high school because the school day isn't over. I don't even know why Scott, Stiles, and Malia are out right now, and Liam might be too. I walk into the school with a tsunami of students surrounding me, and I hear him before I see him. "Hey, Annie," he says behind me causing me to turn facing him, and he sees the anger, "Annie, let's go somewhere else." A growl rumbles my chest, "Don't tell me what to do, Theo." "Why are you angry at me," he says, "Is it what they did to your head?" "No, it is what you did to Hayden," I say lowly. His heart rate starts to race, and I chuckle, "Are you afraid of me, Theo?" "No, I have no reason to be," he says as the bell rings. I push him to the floor, "You know that isn't the truth, but answer my questions honestly then I can see that." "What do you want to know," he begs, and I chuckle. I growl, "Why did you trigger her body's rejection? She was doing fine." "Liam hurt you emotionally, so I hurt him emotionally," he whispers. I growl, "That is murder, Theo. How do you justify that?" He stays silent and hangs his head, so I growl as I pick up, "You know how I feel when you don't answer me." He nods and speaks softly, "To keep a promise." I look at him crazy, "A promise? You justify killing someone with a promise?" "The one promise that we cared the most about when we were younger," he says trying to make me remember. I get irritated, "Nope. I don't remember what you are talking about." "That is funny since you spouting so many promises I broke the other night," he chuckles. I growl, and he stops laughing, "I don't find any of this humorous, Theo. I am finding myself quite angry with you." "Then why haven't you lost control," he asks. I answer, "None of your business, but I would like to know the promise you think makes murder okay." "We promised to hurt the people that hurt us but worse," he says. I ask, "And why in the world would I to that promise except to hurt you?" "Because we were hurt and very angry about it," he says. I throw him away from me, "You disgust me. I try to not hurt people, and you think murdering the girl that Liam was falling for would make me feel better. Stay away from me." "I'll bring her back," he says, and I say, "It isn't possible, and even if it were, I would still never forgive you."

I walk to the parking lot to see Isaac walking toward me, and he picks me up in his arms causing the relief I used to only feel after an outburst. "Please tell me you didn't kill him," he says leaning back to look me in the eyes. I say, "I did not kill him." "You aren't just saying that," he asks jokingly. I roll my eyes, "Shut up and take me home." "Yes, Miss Bossy-pants," Stiles says behind him causing me to look over his shoulder. Stiles, Scott, and Malia are staring back at me. Malia asks me, "Do you want me to stay here to deal with Theo?" "No, he is already feeling his guilt and loss. He even said he was going to bring Hayden back because of it," I say. Scott says, "That is impossible." "That's what I said, but he just shook his head at me," I state. Isaac asks, "Are you sure you want to go home? " "More sure of that than anything in my life," I sigh, and he puts me down and takes my hand. I ask, "Can we walk? It won't stay like this for long." "If that is what you want," Isaac says. I nod, and we start our journey home.

"So if I am going to be your anchor, I need to know more about you," Isaac says. I ask, "What do you want to know?" "Your favorite color, food, etcetera," he says as we continue to walk to the house. I giggle, "I don't know? Maybe when we get home if I feel like it." "Oh. If you feel like it," he says taking me into arms and starts to tickle me. I squeal, "Isaac, stop. It tickles." "Maybe if I feel like it," he says. I am a giggling mess, "Please, Isaac? I can't." "What? I can't understand you with all your laughing," he says as he finally stops his torture. My breathing is shallow, "Isaac, that wasn't nice." "No one ever said I was nice," he says throwing me over his shoulder and starts walking toward home again. I giggle to myself, "Of course my anchor is a pain in my ass." "That isn't nice to say," he mocks me. I mock back, "No one ever said I was nice." "Of course I'm the anchor of a pain in my ass," he chuckles.

He puts me down when we get to the loft, and I say, "Thank you. That was very nice of you. Oops. I just said you were nice. Call the police. Someone just said you were nice." "Ha ha you are hilarious," Isaac says and walks into the building. I follow him inside still laughing at my own joke, and Derek asks, "You seem to be having a good time." "She is a pain in my ass," Isaac says and plops on the couch. Ethan says, "Aww. You like her." "Shut up, Ethan," Isaac says back. I laugh, "Are you blushing, Isaac?" "Noo," he says back and hides his face. I run and jump on him, "Aww. Isaac is blushing," and Ethan is dying of laughter. Isaac keeps denying it, "I'm not blushing," and I start to tickle him. He starts to jerk around, and I say, "Payback sucks, huh?" "Stop it," he says as he flips our positions, and I gasp, "Isaac." "Payback sucks, huh," he asks and begins to tickle me. I squeal, "Isaac!" "Aww you poor thing," he chuckles. I throw him off me as I am breathing hard, "You wanna play this game? Let's play." "Okay, let's play," he gets on his feet. "This is going to be interesting," Danny says. I jump at Isaac, but he catches me and throws me on the couch. I lunge and tickle him first, but he pushes me back on the couch and tickles me. He asks, "Truce?" "Please, Isaac? Please," I beg and squeal. He chuckles, "I don't know." "Isaac, truce? Please," I plea, "I'll tell you what you want to know if you stop." He asks, "You promise?" "Yes, Isaac," I squeal. He pretends to think about it for a second then smirks, "Okay." "You are such a pain in my ass," I pout. He chuckles, "I thought you said I was nice." I look over to see everyone laughing, so I growl. They quiet down, and Isaac says, "You are really hanging on to your anger, aren't you?" "No," I answer then sing to him, "I'm latching onto you." "Really? You sing," Derek says astonished. I nod, "It is one of my favorite things to do." "I would have never known," Isaac says, and I say, "I made a promise, didn't I?"
