As of September 18th, 2015, Perseus Darren Lingheth Jackson and Annabeth Nancy-Claire Chase-Jackson have been married for a full year.
So, lets recount their wedding, and what awaits them on this day.
1. They both personally asked Sam to be the one to marry the two. To which Sam said, "FINALLY! It comes in handy! I can't wait to rub in my mom's face!"
2. Annabeth's dress resembled the style most commonly worn in ancient Greece.
3. They got married on the beach of Camp Half-Blood. Annabeth got ready in the Aphrodite cabin and Percy got ready in the Hermes cabin.
4. As Annabeth walked down the aisle, the instrumental of Bottom of the Sea by Matt Nathanson was played.
5. Instead of doing a speech, Sam made a video of adorable slides of the couple with voice over audios of Jim Gaffigan's "Wedding/Marriage" bit from Obsessed, Sam singing a little bit of Earthquake Weather (by Matt Nathanson), and Sam saying how much they both mean to her, and that she's so happy that they had both found each other and that theres no one more perfect and more meant for each other than those two.
6. Percy's little sister, Layla, and Piper's little sister Izabella, were the flower girls.
7. Both Tyson and Ryan were Percy's best men, and Thalia was Annabeth's maid of honor.
8. For their honeymoon, they went to Egypt. Which yeah, was probably super dangerous, but they decided that they had made it that long so why not.
