Every Mother's Day, Sam would go to her mother's grave in Sweden. She would take a few poison roses (the flower only given that name for their purple and black color) from her stepmother's garden, lie them on the grave-bed, and sit and talk to her mom all day, even though she knew deep down, that her mom couldn't hear her.
