Hazel Levesque is someone that just about everyone loves; she's just so damn lovable. So here's what her friends and siblings did for her on her special day.
1. For Hazel's birthday this year, the gang decided to make her breakfast. But... it didn't turn out too well. They kept arguing, and they got pancake batter everywhere (most of it ended up in Percy's hair). And they couldn't agree on what color to make the whip cream. (They went with purple, white, and teal swirl; her favorite colors.)
2. They all pitched in and got her a beautiful yellow dress, and low rise heel white strapped wedges. Sam also got Hazel a new sketch pad and special colored pencils. And Frank got her a beautiful locket that Hazel had been eyeing the last time they were in town. (The Swedish Nordic-Med town that the team lives in in my timeline.)
3. Sam made their garden bloom to the max. Especially the Azaleas (Hazel's favorite flower).
4. The gang made her a huge single layer cake, but divided it evenly 9 ways. So each friend got to decorate an individual part.
5. No one could find a '20' candle at the store, so they bought a 10 candle, a 5 candle, a 2 candle, and a 3 candle.
6. Sure it was a bit messy. And so what if it all looked like it had been put together by a drunk, blind 5 year old? Hazel could tell that her friends had obviously put so much hard work and love into the occasion. And Hazel had to admit, this was her best birthday yet.
