Birthday Drama

Y/n POV:

Lately brooklyn has been acting very differently. I really don't know what I have done wrong, but he has been ignoring my texts and doesn't kiss me or hug me like before.

(Doorbell rings)

You get up to answer the door and their stood brooklyn. You smile, but he doesn't smile back.

"Hey brook" you lean in to kiss him and he pulls away. You are taken aback by his behaviour and you feel a lump in your throat but you swallow it.

"Erm can I come in" he asks, walking straight past you and into your living room. He had forgotten, it was your birthday and he had forgotten. This made you a little angry because he was supposed to remember things like that. 

"Is everything okay brook" you say sitting next to him.

"Erm, well... There's no east way to say this, but I don't love you anymore". Your eyes fill up with tears, you cannot believe what you are hearing. You run upstairs to your bathroom and lock the door, you cry your eyes out. Suddenly there is a loud noise... You open the door and run into the living room to see what is was. Then you realised that he had left. 

You cried even more at the fact that he would leave you, knowing that he had just broken your heart, you lay on the sofa and cried yourself to sleep.

There is a knock at your door... You get scared because you don't know who it is. You look through the peep hole and you saw brooklyn. You opened the door slowly...

"Princess..." He looks up and you see his tear stained face. "I am so sorry, I never meant anything I said".

"Bullshit. If you never meant it you wouldn't have said it" you walk into your living room and he follows you. He sits down next to you holds your hands and says

"Baby, just key me explain... I did think that I didn't love you, but then I saw you run off crying and I just couldn't take it because it broke my heart knowing that I was the one that put you in that pain. I love you y/n and I want to be with you forever" he got down on one knee. Then he pulls out a ring and says "I promise that I will never say something like that again, I promise that I will love you forever. Please just don't give up on us". You kiss him as he gives you the promise ring.

"Baby, happy birthday" he says kissing your lips.

"You remembered" you say surprised.

"Of course I did. Now let's get ready because I'm taking you somewhere nice for a meal" he says.
