*Ji-Hoon's perspective*

It's Friday, July 13th. My friends for some reason love to go clubbing when it's Friday the thirteenth; I think it's just an excuse, because they never go clubbing otherwise. I end up getting dragged along with them, too. Its boring to me because I don't like to dance and I'm not the most attractive person, so I don't really get approached by anyone. I don't mind it though; I love seeing my friends happy. I just wish I could have a little more fun because otherwise it's just a waste of money.

"Hey, Ji-Unnie! Come here, I need to ask you something!" I hear my friend Yoomi call from the dance floor. I walk towards her, "Can you buy me and Sun-Hee a drink? We're stuck with these wrist bands so we can't buy a drink. You're 21 now, right? You're old enough to buy drinks."
"No, I'm not going to buy you drinks. You have those wristbands for a reason you know," I retort.
"Awe Unnie, you're such a party-pooper. Lighten up a little and have some fun." I tense a little from a slight flashback of that day, "I'm going to go back to the bar now, okay?"
"Yea, sure," my two friends didn't seem to care much. I guess they were used to my behaviour at clubs. I always wonder why they keep inviting me. Maybe they're worried about me?

On my way back to the bar, I end up colliding with someone and falling onto the ground.
"I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I hear a voice say to me. I'm a bit dazed, as the landing was not soft, but when I look up I see something I've never seen before. I feel a sort of churning in my stomach, not painful but... Different. Is this what they call "love butterflies"? The man holding a hand out to help me up is beautiful. His hair is smooth, almost perfect. He stares at me with eyes that pierce right through me and it makes me speechless. "Ma'am? Should I call for someone?" He says in a deep, beautiful voice.
"N-no, no. It's okay, I'm fine," I accept his offer of helping me up, "thank you. I didn't mean to bump into you, I guess I just wasn't paying attention."
"No, it's all good," he replies with a smile. He has dimples. Very, very nice dimples. His smile makes me smile back. "It was honestly my fault. I'm here with some friends, but they like this more than I do. I usually just sit around a have a few drinks."
"Hah! I understand how you feel," I'm really smiling now. What is this? "My friends always make me come with them when they go clubbing. They also have this weird tradition where they only go clubbing on Friday the thirteenth's. It's, um, interesting, to say the least."
He laughs. What a graceful laugh, "That does sound interesting. Maybe it's because Friday the thirteenth is supposed to be bad luck?"
"That wouldn't make sense, why would anyone want to have bad luck while they're clubbing?" I ask, still slightly dazed.
"I'm just fooling around. Anyways, I've got to go, my friends are telling me that it's time to go. See you around?" I see three people waving to the mysterious man from the club doors.
"Yea, maybe. Bye," I barely whisper bye as the man walks away. I don't know why, but I want to see him again. I hope I see him again.

"Unnie, are you ready to go?" Yoomi and Sun-Hee yell.
"Yea, sorry, let's go."
We walk to the car together, Yoomi and Sun-Hee giggling about some cute boy they talked to. I'm in a trance, completely shocked by the events of tonight. I just couldn't wait to get home and sleep. As I search for my car keys, I feel a piece of paper in my pocket. I take it out and read it.

On it was a number and a note,

"I'm so sorry for knocking you down! Can I make it up to you by taking you to lunch?
