Chapter 21

Lukes POV

Hours pass and I can hear the birds starting to chirp. I didn't get any sleep, great. I stand up and push the blanket onto the couch. Walking upstairs, I see Summers door is open. I look inside to see her on the balcony in a towel. Another towel wrapped around her hair. I see the peanut butter on her bedside table with a spoon in it. I laugh to myself and then go into my room. Aleisha is still sleeping, I check the time. It's 6.. Aleisha doesn't get up for another hour. I then go and knock on Summers door.

"Yeah?" She asks

"It's Luke" I say waiting for her to tell me it's okay to come in, the door shuts and then I hear her fumble around. She practically trips when she opens the door.

"Sorry I took a shower and had to get dressed." She looks at me "What's up?"

"I was just wondering if you wanted to eat breakfast together?" I smile shyly "I didn't feel like eating alone, since everyone else is asleep." She smiles

"Sure" She grabs her phone off her charger and then walks with me downstairs. "Sometime today I gotta go to my apartment to check on George"

"I'll drive you" I say, she smiles and sits down on a stool

"Won't Aleisha get mad?" She asks

"Whatever" I say shrugging. I open the cabinets and find some bagels. Then Summer jumps up and goes to the fridge, she opens it and grabs cheese and baloney. I look at her, she smiles and then I remember that's what I made a year ago when we first met. I grin and then start making it.

"So, later Michael and Haylie are going on a date.. Aleishas dragging me along.. I think everyones going, are you?" I ask

"Probably not" She shrugs

"Why?"

"I dont know, there's no point really" Her face was sad, like she wished I would tell her I wanted her to go.. But at that moment Aleisha walked downstairs. Yawning she sat down at the opposite side of the island table.

"So, tonight we are gonna be off on our own okay? No stragglers" She said staring directly at Summer. Summer flipped her off then and walked out of the kitchen.

"Wait, so do you not want breakfast?" I asked, Summer said no politely and continued going to the living room. After I was done cooking I saw her go upstairs.

"Why can't she just leave you alone, you're mine" Aleisha said "She's always a distraction and a bitch to me and I don't want her here"

"Why can't you be nice for once?" I said getting frustrated, turning the stove off and plopping the food onto a plate. I put it on the table and pushed it towards her then walked upstairs.

Ashtons POV

I wake up at like 7:15 and yawn, I hear Luke say something and half stomp half walk upstairs. Well something happened.

I open my door and look down the hall to see Luke walking into his room and slamming the door. I then see Summers door open, she has a jar of peanut butter in her hand and a spoon in her mouth. She looked confused. Then we see Aleisha walking upstairs looking pissed off.

"Summer go crawl back into the place you came from, you bitch" Summer laughs

"Lol"

"Did you just say 'lol'?" I ask laughing

"Yes yes I did" She had a big cheeky grin. "And what did I do? After you were a bitch I came up here"

Aleisha stopped in her tracks and glared at Summer.
