Chapter 5

I sighed dreamily as I kicked off my heels. I of course didn't get Jason's contacts or give mine but it felt good to be wanted. I looked to the right where Cameron was storming around in her home office desk for something. She was strangely very serious for someone who just went out clubbing.

"Cameron what are you doing?" I ask curiously, she seems to have found what she was looking for as she squealed excitedly.

She collected herself and strutted over to me a folder behind her back, a cheshire smile on her face. My eyes glared intensely at her, this didn't look good.

"We need you to have a good image, and sadly to say you aren't getting the memorable roles you want and surely deserve. So in this day and age who you date unfortunately for women says a lot about what you think of yourself and it can get you better connections as far as playing the next Kate Winslet in Titanic," Cameron says dramatically stopping so I can absorb what she was saying.

I was starting to get uncomfortable at this through the bush Cameron, normally she says things straight out. I could tell she was building an idea for me but what that idea was is scaring me. She got me hooked at the roles I deserve part, just what was the catch.

"The simple fact is that emotionally you're just not ready to seriously date anybody. So why not hire someone to fake date you as a publicity stunt to help you get the more romantic roles we all know you can play."

"Okay, and who do you have in mind to fake date me," I ask, just humoring the idea as I sit up to pay attention. Cameron was the best manager I could ever ask but this idea seemed I don't know strange. I know it's been done before but if it gets out thats my career down the drain.

"As you know, I'm very untrustworthy when it comes to men. It took Daniel six years of being close friends for me to even consider seriously dating him. So I think we should go for... I don't know, maybe one of the Tibbets boys."

"No." I hurriedly responded. There was no way in hell I was ever going to fake-date any of her brothers. The thought already had me cringing.

"Come on Lux, we have to use someone we trust or else it could get out to the public before it even starts." she countered.

"No, I'm known for my honesty who would I even be if I turned around and pulled the wool over everyone's eyes like that." I for once was seriously not jumping the gun with her this time. This was either going to make or break my career, I couldn't just trust this with one of her brothers like that.

"There will be no negative effects from this my brothers are are well-known well-liked they would boost your career," Cameron says opening the folder she had behind her back and placing the head shots of her four brothers.

I would have laughed at the fact that she had this but I was too concentrated. I leaned in to look at the familiar faces of her brothers. It seemed she organized it by age. The eldest Logan, I was familiar with him but haven't seen since last year. Then was Michael, I felt a smile rise as I saw his headshot. Next was Leo who I had briefly met once at Cameron's birthday party. And lastly was Niko. Out of the four I was most comfortable with Niko but I don't see him 'Hollywood's bad boy', as a good boost for me.

"Can't we get anyone else?" I asked her pleadingly.

"Anyone else won't be good enough, and you know it." she smirked as I took another uneasy glance at the headshots. Knowing good and well as far as celebrities, the ones I knew were mostly music people aside from makeup artist and stylist.

"Fine, but only if Leo agrees." I say in defeat. If anyone was going to help me get back into films it should a film director himself. Especially one as talented as Leo, besides what if I charm him into giving me a role it could be the break I've always wanted. Then again, he did do action movies which really freaked me to begin with.
