Remember When...

Chapter 13

I'm staring to not care about the risk of me getting killed anymore. I just need to be with Lauren. She's been texting me everyday for the past three weeks and I've been ignoring her. I can't stand knowing she's upset. She broke up with Zac yesterday and I'm planning to break it with Charlotte soon. I miss my baby.

*the next day*

"Hey Char, we need to talk."
"Okay."
"Let's go down to the lake."
"Sounds good." Charlotte sounded sad, as if she knew what was coming.
"Okay so," I stared once we got there,"I don't-"
"Think we should be together. Okay. I knew this was coming."
"Oh. Wow. Um, okay."
"I've known this whole time. You still love Lauren. I know she still loves you why don't you get back together with her?"
"It's complicated."
"I thought love was stronger than any complication."
"Yea, but my death is on the line."
"Why?!"
"I broke up with her in the first place because Christina, Mike, and Mr. Cimorelli beat me up and put a gun to my head and threatened to kill me if I didn't."
"Why?!"
"I don't know. All I know is that I miss Lauren and it sucks knowing she's hurting."
"How do you know she is?"
"She tells me everyday but I ignore it."
"Oh."
"Yea."
"Well, maybe you could be with her in secret!"
"But if we get caught I'll be dead."
"But won't it be worth it"
"True."
"So then call her and tell her to come right here. Alone."
"That sounds creepy."
"I know." Charlotte said laughing.
"Okay though. I see what you're saying. I'll text her now."
"Okay. Bye. Good luck."
"Thanks Char."
"No prob."

*Lauren's POV*
I was sitting on my bed looking out the window when my phone lit up. I looked over at it to see Chelsea's name!

C-hey
L-hey
C-can we talk?
L-we are now
C-wow
L-yea
C-seriously tho
L-yea sure
C-great! meet me at the lake where only we know
L-okay see you in 5
C-see you then

Once I got to the lake I saw Chelsea looking out over it, looking fine by the way. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Hey." She said turning around to look at me.
"Hey. What did you wanna talk abo-"
I stopped mid sentence because Chelsea suddenly hugged. I hugged back letting myself be enveloped into her arms. I missed this more than anything. After what felt like forever she let go of me and looked at just simply looked at me.
"I'm so sorry for everything I've put you through." She said with tears wanting to escape her eye.
"I can explain everything though."
"Okay. Go ahead." I said.
"Christina, Mike, and your dad kidnapped me in the middle of the night and started beating me up. Then your dad put a gun to my head and said he'd pulled the trigger if I didn't break up with you. In fact telling you all this could get me killed, but I don't care anymore. As long as I'm with you I'll be alright." She explained with honesty in her eyes and I hug at the end.
"I believe you." I said
"Seriously?" She asked surprised.
"Yea."
"Thank god!"
"But what do we do now?"
"Could we get back together?"
"But what about my family? If they catch us you'll die."
"You're worth it."
(AN: if you got that reference you're my best friend now tbh)
"Then okay. I'd love to be back with you." I said with a smile.
She leaned in and I followed. Once our lips met sparks flew around every where. I missed this feeling more than anything in the world. This right here, is exactly where I want to be. We pulled apart and just looked at each other for a little while, enjoying each other's company.
"Okay, let's get you home." She said bringing me back to reality.

AN: I know! You guys probably hate me! I'm so sorry for this super short chapter when I keep promising long chapters. But I had to stop myself as soon as I noticed this was starting to sound like every fan fic ever wrote ever. I want my readers to take part in this story! So please please please send me some ideas! Anything you want to happen in this story! No idea is a bad one! Also, I'm so sorry for the slow updates. A lot has been happening to me lately. First my friend told me that she liked me and I was like,"seriously? I like you too!" but we never got together then today she suddenly thinks that we shouldn't be together and I've been super upset about it. But yea. Sorry about this. I'm gonna try to do better!
