Remember When...

Chapter 2

Lauren's POV
"So. what you're saying is that it was love at first sight?" Lisa asked
We were in our room talking about the thief from last night.
"I don't know. Maybe." I replied
"What did you feel when you saw that thief?"
"Elephants in my stomach, uncontrollable nerves, and sweaty palms. And she's not a thief! She didn't take anything! The only she stole was my heart..."
"Okay, that was cheesy. But yea. Lauren, I think you're in love. Or at least just have a huge crush."
"I didn't even get to know her name."
"It's okay Lauren. We'll find her. Dani and I will help you look."
"Yea! This girl sounds pretty cool! We'll find her for you Lauren. We promise." Dani said
"Thank you guys." I said touched by what they said
"Come on! Let's go find this girl!" Lisa said getting up from her bed
We all started walking down the stairs.
"Mom! Lauren, Dani and I are going out for a little while! We'll be back before dinner!"
"Okay! Be safe!"
"We will! Love you!" we all shouted before exiting the house

"Okay, Lauren, what did this girl look like?"
"She had perfect red hair-"
"Red hair?! You don't see very often." Lisa exclaimed
"Anyway! She had gorgeous chocolate brown eyes. Fair skin and light freckles."
"She sounds pretty!" Dani said
"She is..." I said starting to day dream

Chelsea's POV
"Hey guys! Charlotte, Anna and I are going to do a Starbucks run! Who wants something?!" I screamed
My friends and I live in a small cabin in the woods. It's me, Charlotte, Anna, Drake, Josh, and Parker. All of us were abandoned by our parents when we were little. We all got put into the same orphanage. Parker was there first, then Drake, then me, then Charlotte, then Josh, then finally Anna. Since we're all the same age, we became friends quickly there. But, we all hated it. It wasn't the best place to be and we all knew it. The only good thing about it was they gave us phones. Basically trying to bribe us into staying there. Then one Saturday night,we all escaped. We then found this house in the woods. It had two bedrooms with two bunk beds on each one. A main living space, bathroom, and kitchen. We wondered why the place was abandoned. We've all lived here ever since.

"We'll have our usual!" Parker screamed out
"Okay! See you guys later!" Anna said then we all walked out
"So Chelsea, find out who that girl is yet?" Charlotte asked with a smirk
"Wait! What?! How do you know about that?!"
"Dude! You talk in your sleep!" Charlotte said laughing
"Oh." I said blushing

We got our drinks and started to leave, when someone caught me eye. It was the girl from last night! She was walking with two other girls who I'm guessing we're her sisters.
"Guys, look! It's the girl." I said staring at her
"Then go get her Chels!" Anna said pushing me towards her
"No! I'm not ready!"
"Well, looks like you'll have to improvise then!" she said continuing to push me
"Hello! My name is Anna, and this is Charlotte and Chelsea." Anna said with a smile

Lauren's POV
My sisters and I were walking to a Starbucks just down the street from our house. Suddenly a girl was pushed into me. I turned around to see the girl from the other night! Suddenly my knees felt weak.
"Hello! My name is Anna, and this is Charlotte and Chelsea."
So her name is Chelsea! What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl!
"Hi! My name is Lisa, this is Lauren and Dani! It's nice to meet you!"
"Lisa. That's the girl." I whispered
"Oh! Well a very big hello to you Chelsea!" Lisa said
"Lisa!" I said embarrassed
"So Lauren," the girl named Charlotte started," our best friend Chelsea here says that she saw you last night. Sorry about the break in by the way. It's the only way we get by."
"Charlotte! Shut up! You're embarrassing me!" I heard Chelsea say in a slight whisper
"That's funny cause Lauren says the same thing, and more-" Dani whispered that last part," about Chelsea!"
"Dani!" I said
"Well, we gotta go get these drinks to our friends back home. We'll leave Chelsea here to talk a little longer though. See you around!" Anna said then her and Charlotte left leaving Lisa Dani, Chelsea and I together.
"Well, Lauren, Dani and I are going to go get some drinks. We'll leave you to to talk." Lisa said smirking as her and Dani walked inside the Starbucks leaving Chelsea and I alone.
"So, um, sorry about breaking in last night then falling on you." Chelsea said looking down at her hands
"It's okay." I said lifting her chin up
"Um, I should probably go and catch up with my friends." she said
"Okay," I said not wanted her to leave," um, could I get your number before you leave?"
"Yea. Here you go." she said handing me a piece of paper with her number on it
"Thanks. I'll talk to you later." I said
"Okay. Sounds good. Bye." She said waving goodbye
"Bye." I said smiling like an idiot
"So, Lauren, how'd it go?" Lisa asked
"She's perfect." I said
"Did you get her number?" Dani asked
I nodded looking at it
"Well you should text her so she has your number too." Lisa suggested
"Oh yeah! Okay!"
I took out my phone and texted,"Hey Chelsea! It's Lauren😊"
Once I hit send, we all started walking home.

Chelsea's POV
"So Chelsea, how was it?"
"She's better then I could have ever imagined."
"Awe! OTP!"
Then suddenly my phone buzzed. It was a text from an unknown number.
"Hey Chelsea! It's Lauren😊"
I smiled looking down at my phone.
"Who texted you?" asked Parker
"By the look of the smile on her face, I'd say that Lauren texted her." Josh said
"Wait! So all of you heard my sleep talk?!" I asked hopping the answer was no
"Yep. Pretty much." They all said
"Oh." I said blushing
"Well, you going to text her back?" asked Drake
"Oh yea." I said and walked to my room to be alone

C-Hey Lauren!
L-Hey! So the number wasn't fake!😂
C-What do you mean?😕
L-I've gotten a lot of fake numbers in the past
C-Awe that must have sucked
L-Yea. But I'm good now😂
C-Okay😂
C-So wassup?
L-Not much. Are you doing anything on Friday?
C-I don't think so. Why?
L-Want to hang out at my place?
C-Yea sure!
L-Okay great!
L-Well, I got to go. I'll see you Friday
C-Okay! See you then!

I checked the date today. Wednesday. Man, I can't wait until Friday.
