Act 5 Scene 3

Enter Cedric

Cedric: Harry, whose love I will never know. Who's gentle kiss shall never caress my smooth and sweet lips. How did you escape my lovers arms. I could ensnare anyone in this school. Cho, Goyle even Snape! But you were the one who got away. But what is this! A dragon heartstring in your pocket! What does this mean?

Draco: Put it down Diggory. That is between Harry and I.

Cedric: You and Harry! The only emotion harry felt for you was hate. He despised you from the moment he saw you. This heartstring represents the hatred between your two houses!

Draco: How dare you say such things, my father will hear about this. AVADA KEDAVRA!

Cedric's body falls from the astronomy tower

Draco: The heartstring!

Draco catches heartstring but slips

Draco: How strange it is, to hang on from a dragon heartstring, the thing that held our love together now holds me between falling to my death and staying in a life without harry. If this were to break our love would to. But I would then join Harry in heaven. To let go or not to let go, that is the question. Is my existence cursed because of all the people I have killed. Cedric, Ron.... And possibly Harry. I cannot live like this, with the guilt forever on my shoulders

Harry wakes up.

Harry: Draco is that you

Draco: Harry?

Harry: Draco it is you how did you get the heartstring?

Draco: Help me up! I'm slipping

Harry: I won't let up you fall!

The heartstring breaks

Harry: Noooooooo!!!!

Exit Draco to heaven

Harry: My only love, descends into the darkness of the night. He follows Cedric my love turned hate into the abyss. And yet here I am forever in unfortunate events lost. But I will follow into the darkness my one true love.

Harry climbs over barrier

Harry: And Draco will catch me in the never ending embrace that is death, for without Draco my life is pointless and with that death do me part.

Harry jumps off the tower.

Enter Prof. Trelawney, Dumbledore

Dumbledore: I would like you to take a closer look at the body. Where is Harry, his body laid here but until a minute ago.

Prof. Trelawney: But what is this? A dragon heartstring broken, stuck in the crack of a floor board. Aside: But where is Draco and Harry why is the heartstring broken.

Enter Snape and McGonagall and Hermione below in the courtyard

Hermione: Death! Death! In the courtyard. Bodies everywhere. Cedric! Draco! Harry!

Dumbledore: It is evident from what Prof. Trelawney has told me that Harry and Draco loved each other to the enth degree. Here they are, they followed each other into the abyss for love and love has taken its misguided hand and taken their souls to heaven to complete their journey. This may have been changed if the two houses Gryffindor and Slytherin had worked together and allowed each other to love. You must know that friendship can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
