Lauren was just sitting by Morgan's bedside, talking to her. She was saying how they all wanted her to wake up, and that she was going to be okay, and she was gonna heal and get better than ever and that Lauren was never gonna leave her and be there for her, when all of a sudden, a groan could be heard. She looked up at Morgan's faces and saw her eyes slowly opening. she was obviously in a lot of pain. Morgan had an oxygen mask on so Lauren spoke softly to the 22 year old "Hey, Morgan. Welcome back." then, without Morgan noticing, she hit the nurse call button. The nurse came rushing in surprising, the soccer player in the bed, then Doctor Zen and two other nurses also came in. They ask Lauren to step back, and they carefully took off the oxygen mask and replaced it the nose plugs instead. Morgan opened her mouth but it was dry so the nurse handed Lauren a cup of ice chips and told her give her some of those. Lauren went over and gently helped Morgan eat them. Soon, she texted Jrue about the orphan waking up. She looked at Moe, smiled, and asked "How are you feeling, sweetie?" Morgan replied, very weakly "Sore. I don't remember what happened really, though." "That's the concussion talking." "What are my injuries?" Then Doctor Zen walked in "I believe I can answer that." He smiled at the two athletes before saying "You have a concussion, broken ribs and the worst was your right leg. We had to surgically repair because you tore everything in it." Morgan was in shock. Lauren gently held her left hand and said "You're going to be okay, Morgan. Jrue and I are going to take you in and take care of you." Morgan weakly smiled and replied "Really? Thank...(coughs) you." Lauren and doctor Zen looked at her, and then Zen said "That's enough talking for right now kiddo. I think you need the mask back." Lauren nodded, and Morgan slowly fell asleep. Zen then asked to talk to Lauren outside.
