Connor had let Troye into the bathroom without properly thinking about it. He wasn't sure why he had done it.
Maybe it was the desperation in Troyes voice as he had messed with the lock or that Connor knew he would find a way in anyway. Or maybe it was because Connor wanted someone to save him from himself and he realised only Troye could do that.
Connor knew Troye had seen what was on his phone and that he had heard him crying no matter how hard he had tried to smother the sobs.
When Connor had opened the door Troyes eyes had widened. Connor felt self conscious stood in front of this perfect boy.
Troye had tried to convince him that the comments weren't the truth. But Connor knew they were.
He knew that everyone else got comments almost identical but he knew they weren't true. His were.
And it had all overwhelmed him again. And he had broken down in front of Troye.
He had expected Troye to leave him crying but he was shocked when Troye grabbed his shaking hand and led him back to his bed. He sat them down on the end of the bed and cradled Connor in his lap stroking his soft brown hair gently and telling him it would all be okay until Connor fell asleep in his arms. And for the first time in almost a year Connor thought it might all just be okay and he slept the whole night.

A/N I know this chapter is short but I sorta like it so I went with it.

Happy Rosh Hashanah to anybody who celebrated. I hope you have a year full of love and happiness.
