Tyler gasped. He didn't know what he had been expecting but it wasn't what he found in Connors living room.
Sprawled across the couch was Connor. He was asleep and his chest moved slowly up and down and he looked calm. This contrasted to the rest of Connors body. He slept with only his boxers on, understandable with the heat in LA at the moment.
Connors ribs and hip bones stuck out furiously and Tyler doubted he had eaten since they had returned from VidCon. Across his ribs were angry red lines. Some were old scars but most were fresh. There were thick bandages across Connor's thighs and wrists and when he looked closer her could see that Connor's face was tear stained.
"Oh God Con" Tyler whispered.
He watched Connor for a while.
He knew something had been up but he had thought things were looking up.
Seeing his body now, was an entirely different story.
Tyler sat down on the couch next to Connor and carefully shook his shoulder in an area that looked most clear of scars.
"Connor babe" Tyler whispered and Connors eyes shot open. He didn't seem to register what was happening to start with, just sat, rigid staring up at Tyler.
Then all of sudden he began to shout. He screamed at Tyler to get out, to leave and fogey everything he had seen but Tyler simply sat and watched. And when Connor had finished shouting he fell back into the seat and began to cry.
His whole body shook with sobs and all Tyler could do was hold him because
this boy was broken and Tyler didn't know if Troye could fix him this time.
