Unpredictable

Walking out of the pizza place, well rolling out of the pizza place, I started thinking. I only have a few hours with them. I better make this count. "So, guys what do you want to do next?" I looked at them and began thinking of possibilities myself. We could go bowling, swimming, we could watch a movie, I could take them to my home town, or we could just stay in Atlanta and hang out. Luke finally spoke up, "I was thinking we could just stay around here and hang out and you could take us to a lot of cool places." He looked around as if seeing if we agreed. Mikey said, "Ok I'm fine with that." The other guys agreed and off we went. Walking down the street we passed the Georgia Dome. "Woah. What's that?" This came from Ashton. He was looking up and his mouth was parted slightly. "That's the Georgia Dome. It's where they play football." "Oh cool. Can we go in?" I thought about just walking in but there would be security everywhere. Then I remembered something. "Yeah follow me." The boys followed me and we walked to the back of the dome and through a door marked Employees Only. "Um, Are we supposed to be on here?" Ashton looked worried. "No. Not really." When I said this Michael laughed and hit Ashton on the back. "Don't worry man. Just trust her." I began walking again and they followed. A few minutes later we reached a door that said Custodian. Knock. Knock. They door swung open and staring at me was a middle aged man with long hair. He looked like he hadn't had a bath in a week. I glanced back at the boys and they all shifted there weighted and cleared there throats. I started laughing and they all looked at me like I was a ghost. "Hey cuz!" I stepped to the guy and put my arm around his shoulder. Luke relaxed first and said "So this is your cousin?" "Yep. Guys this is Cason, Cason this is Michael, Luke, Ashton, and Calum." Cason stuck out his hand and the guys shook his hand and laughed. "So Cason I was wondering if you could let us out on the field." He looked at me and rubbed his chin, "Well coach just left and there is no one else here but me, so I don't see why not." He handed me the keys and looked at the guys. "Nice to meet you! Have fun." They all laughed awkwardly and nodded. Cason walked back into his office and shut the door. I jiggled the keys and began walking towards the field. The boys followed in silence until we got to the field. "So how do you know the way around this place?" "Well I worked here a few years ago with Cason. He showed me around and I got to meet a few players and coaches." Walking on to the field Calum ran ahead and started jumping around and yelling. The other boys followed and were jumping and screaming and running all over the place. I stood there watching them for a minute and then joined them running around and screaming. Calum came over and picked me up and started running when he passed Luke he tossed me in his arms. It was really fun. After about an hour we were all sweaty and out of breath from chasing each other and screaming. We all collapsed to the ground and laid in silence for a few minutes. It was so quiet I could hear heartbeats and everyone's fast breathing. "Ok that was really fun. Let's go somewhere else." Calum stood up and reached down and grabbed my hand. He pulled me up and the other guys joined us. I grabbed the keys and we walked back to Cason's office. After leaving the dome we walked to a park and bought something to drink. We were walking through the park and I looked at my watch. 3:41. We passed a playground and of course we had to go play on it just because.  Once we were tired of acting like kids it was 4:30. "Um what time do yall have to be back?" Ashton pulled out his phone and said, "In about an hour." I looked at the ground and frowned. "Oh ok. So what do u want to do for an hour?" The idea of a nerf war suddenly popped into my head. "I have an idea." I ran across the street to an Dollar General and got 5 guns and like 20 packs of bullets. Running back across the street I loaded a gun and began shooting at the guys. They all screamed and hid behind a tree. I tossed them there guns and a pack of bullets. We had an epic war running around the park and shooting everyone. We eventually created teams and of course my team won. We finally called a truce and it was 4:50. We walked back to the hospital and said our goodbyes. We hugged each other and I was holding back tears. "Bye guys." I couldn't hold it back any longer. Tears started rolling down my cheeks one by one. Calum came over an wiped a tear from my face. "I'll never forget you Anna. You're amazing." "And I'll never forget you Calum Hood." He hugged me and then Ashton joined. Before long Micael and Luke joined in. We were all hugging and i said "I love you guys. Yall changed my life." They pulled away and smiled at me. "We love you too." Luke hugged me again. A few moments and a few tears later there bus pulled up. Calum looked at me and said, "Don't worry we got a new driver." I laughed and gently punched him in the arm. We all hugged once again and they got on the bus. Calum was the last one on. He turned to me and smiled. "Until we meet again." I waved and bit my tongue to keep from crying. Calum turned and walked up the steps and into the bus. The door closed and my heart ached with the thought of never seeing them again.
