Dumb

Calum's POV

When she kissed me on the cheek it sent electricity all over my body. All I could do was laugh, thankful, that from where she was sitting she couldn't see my face turn red. Once we got to the field I had a plan. I was going to kiss her again tonight. We laid on the blanket and looked at the stars. Anna was right beside me and I was going over my plan in my head. I need to get her away from the group so it can be private, but how? I was brought back to reality when she stood up. Thinking this was my chance I stood up after her, and she started to write her name in the sky with a sparkler. She looked at me while giving me an already lit sparkler. We were both running and writing in the sky when Luke and Ashton joined us. A few minutes after chasing after each other Anna tripped and fell to the ground. Naturally, almost out of instinct I ran over to her. She was laying on her back laughing trying to catch her breath. "Are you okay?" She looked at me as I outstretched my hand and she grabbed it. "Yeah. I'm fine, I just tripped over something." A few seconds later Michael stood up holding his ribs. "Yeah, me!" We all started laughing and Anna walked over to him,"Oh my God. I'm so sorry!" She was trying to suppress her laughter and she was smiling. Chloe walked over to Michael and hugged him. "Does it feel better now?" "Yes. Much better." We rolled out eyes and Anna gave Chloee a thumbed up and they both started laughing. It was around 1:15 and I was begging to get a little hungry. "I'm hungry." "Calum you're always hungry." Anna rolled her eyes and said, "There is food in the back, remember?" "Oh yeah. Thanks." I knew that now would be a perfect time to get her away. I walked a few steps and turned around. "I may need some help." She rolled her eyes but came along. Once we got to the car I leaned down and kissed her lightly. When I pulled away she was smiling and I kissed her again. This time she kissed me back. I leaned into her and she walked back leaning on the car. I kissed her again and then I hit my knee on the trailer hitch. "Ow!" "What's wrong?" I laughed to myself. How could I be so dumb?! "I hit my knee." I walked over to the passenger side and sat down. She looked at my knee and touched it lightly. She grabbed my hand. "Does it hurt?" "A little." I got down and walked a few feet away testing it out. I could walk without limping, that was good. Anna walked to the back of the car and I went to her and began helping her with the bags. She grabbed my arm and said, "One more thing," She stood on her toes and kissed me again. She grabbed the bags and walked away. Jogging up to her I tried to grab her free hand. On my third attempt she stopped and grabbed my hand. I laced my fingers with hers. "Let's go." And we did. Walking with her I couldn't imagine leaving again. In a few days I would have to go back to California and leave her here. But for now I'm going to make sure that these next few days will be the best ever.
