*Chris POV*

After we ate breakfast we needed to hunt. Well more or less Astrid did. Willow had killed the last of the prey yesterday. And having a newborn in the house was extremely dangerous. Seriously, if she didn't eat soon there would be no telling what she would do. Astrid would destroy everything till the pain went away. Which would be never until she killed people and we can't really have her running around killing random people. Willow ran up and gave me a notebook. I had completely forgotten about this. Inside of it was the covers history. My dad gave it to me before a rival cove killed him. The same coven started coming after us again 8 years ago. Well almost 8 in a half now I guess. The book was old. Like really old.

I shut the book, not wanting to see the endless list of names of the dead. My Grandpa started this coven and I miss him a lot. He would always tell me stories about when vampires ruled the earth. And how he would be the one to sing me to sleep when when I was younger after my mom died. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Astrid yelling.

"You little shit!" I looked up to see Astrid holding Sally by the throat against the wall. Shit. Willow started screaming for her to let go of her. And for once she didn't listen. Well Willow is 6 years old I don't even listen to her sometimes. But that's besides the point. My fiance is currently strangling a 6 year old. This day isn't going so well.

"Let her go!" Devin went after Astrid, and Willow went after him. Soon everybody was fighting with each other. And Astrid was winning. If I could I would stand here and keep watching her. God she's hot. I walked over to Sally who was in the corner with Willow scared and shaking literally. It's understandable because you don't fuck with a newborn especially my newborn. When I got over there I noticed just exactly what Sally was holding something. A blanket. And it wasn't hers, it was Astrid's blanket from when she was a little girl.

"Where did you get that?" That was in our room. I swear it was.

"I found it."

"Where?" What do you mean you found it? Tell me child!?

"On the railing upstairs, on the 3rd floor." No. No no no.

"Sweetie... no one was on that floor this morning. And no one has been up there in over 10 years. There may be 5 above ground floors but no one goes to that one only to quick use the stair and even then no one sets foot on that floor."

"I heard a noise up there so I went to go see and I found it. It's mine!" At that point we all heard something. It came from the 3rd floor. Sally was right. Fuck me. "That's the noise! Daddy that's the noise! That's the nose, that's the nose I heard this morning!" Sally was now jumping up and down with excitement. Probably because she was right. She's the only one though. I walked up the stairs and the noise sounded again. This time it was a familiar sound. All too familiar. I heard the same sound when the coven was first under attack. And that was 400 years ago.

Yeah there's a reason why we all like 666, it's like being 21 for humans. I was 253 when it happened, so about 15 in human years because I was born a vampire like willow my aging process started to slow down when I was about 13 and when I turned 20 it stopped completely. I ran down the hall towards Willows room. I grabbed all of her cloths and blankets and pillows. Loading them up into duffle bags and trash bags. As soon as I was done I did the same to all of Astrid's things. Including the letters and pictures from her parents. She would need them.

If I remembered right I had about 5 more minutes to get as much as I could loaded into the car with Astrid and Willow, and get them out of here before all hell broke loose. Quite literally infact. Devin did the same with Sally and Kylie. The others just grabbed cloths and began loading them up as fast as they could. I ran back to the stairs with the bags when I was thrown over the railing. Astrid screamed, and Angelo helped me up. It was hard to breath, but I'll manage.

"Baby you need to listen to me ok? Find your parents. They can keep you and Willow safe. Promise me you'll do that. okay? Promise me. Astrid you have to promise."

"I promise. Just... just come with us. Chris please." She was starting to cry. 1 more minute. Josh got in the driver's side of the car and looked at Astrid. I kissed her goodbye and he speed off following the others. Willow was looking out the back window of the car. Crying and screaming. I ran back inside and all hell broke loose. I just hope I make it out of this alive.

*Astrid's POV*

Josh took off leaving Chris behind. "DADDY!! DADDY!! NOOOO!!!" Willow started banging on the back window. I looked out the window while tears streamed down my face. I knew I couldn't do anything, but hope he would find us after all this was over. Hope was the only thing besides Willow I had left. Chris always said have hope and faith things would be just fine. Josh and Ricky were the only guys that came with. Only cause Chris order the others to stay and fight. Devin was more then happy to, as long as it meant Kylie and Sally were safe.

I started to feel a burning sensation in my throat. The pain was excruciating, I couldn't even scream. The tears started stingy as they ran down my face. And I could feel every part of my body burning. Josh noticed that I was in tears and he realized it wasn't from leaving Chris. He called Ricky who was in front of us and told him to pull into the next rest stop. "Mommy's hungry uncle Joshy." I couldn't breath and with each passing moment everything got harder to see.

"I know sweetie." Food. I need food. Everything hurts. Hurts so bad.

"Then feed her. Now!" Willow stared to cry again until we got to the rest stop. Well she more like started screaming. Screaming at the top of her lungs. I wish Chris was here. He would know what to do right now.
