There was a little park at the rest stop. It only took 5 minutes and 1 close accident to get to said place. Willow and Sally went to go play on it, but Ricky stopped them. They shouldn't be going anywhere not with something coming after us. We had to keep going if we wanted to make it to my parents house. We were 5 hours away from the house and I couldn't stop thinking something bad was going to happen. Why didn't he tell me they were alive? All along I thought they were dead. Whatever the reason was, I needed to keep Willow safe.

I slide down the side of the car feeling like I was going to pass out. My throat was still on fire, and so was the rest of my body. And with each passing moment my vision got worse and worse. Josh shoved a container in my face. It looked like an ice cream shake, but I knew better than that. I took it and began to chug it. "Slow down you'll make yourself sick.Feel better?" I nodded my head and went back to drinking it. That's when I realized I couldn't hear or see Willow. Nor Sally for that matter.

"Willow!?" I waited for a response, but never got on. Kylie noticed they were gone too. I looked around everywhere. Until I heard Sally screaming. All of us ran towards the woods that were next to the playground. "Sally?! Willow?!"

"Sally where are you baby!?" Kylie was now crying. Everybody was starting to panic. We heard another scream. It came from just up ahead. As soon as we got there I saw the one thing I never wanted to see. Willow lying on the ground not moving, and not breathing. I ran over to her lifeless body. She couldn't be gone. No no no she can't be. This can't be happening. Crying, I held her and started rocking back and forth. I don't know what I was hoping to accomplish by doing this.

"Mommy!" I looked over to see Sally running into Kylie's arms crying. "Mommy they said they hurt daddy. They hurt Willow mommy." I swear to God I will find however did this and rip them to shreds. Oh... wow... that sounded a lot like Chris.

"Who did sweetie? What happened?"

"She can tell us when we get back to the cars. We have to get out of here now." Josh pulled out a knife as if somebody was about to jump out and murder us all. Not that they would be able to accomplish that task.

"I'm not leaving." I said staring at Willow. She looked so much like Chris. So much like him. "Not without her." Josh didn't like that idea. He walked over and ripped me away from Willows body. I kicked and screamed for him to let me go, but he didn't. Kylie held on to Sally tighter than before as they both started to cry. Sally had lost her friend and being Willow's age Kylie would be doing the same thing if she was me. Josh wouldn't understand anything. He has no mate. No wife. No children.

"Josh stop it! Stop it right now. If that was your daughter, the last fucking hope of keeping your sanity even for a little while so you can piece your life together would you leave her there to fucking rot?!" Ricky forced Josh to let go of me, causing me to fall to the ground and cry some more. He walked over to Willow and picked her up. "Try having a little more empathy for her." Once we go back to the cars I crawled in back and made a little bed to sleep. They guys had put Willow in little coffin Chris had made her to sleep in a while back.

All I could think about was if Chris was ok. And what did Sally mean by they hurt Devin? They who? Who the fuck was they? If Chris was ok what would he do as soon as he found out his little girl was dead? Besides me, she was the only thing on earth that he cared about. He would and has done anything to protect her. I was pulled out of my thoughts as Ricky shut the car door. "Hey, you ok?"

"I want Chris." Tears threatened to fall as I spoke. I didn't just want him, I needed him. Now more than ever right now.

"I made josh trade cars. I didn't think you would want to be in a car with someone who yelled at you after what happened. If you want I can call Chris. I got a text an hour ago. He said the guys barely got away, but they would meet us there." I nodded my head and Ricky dialed his number.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chris. It's me."

"I thought I told you not to call." Why would he tell him not to call?

"You did. This call isn't for me though." Ricky handed me the phone and I laid back down in my

make shift bed.

"Baby?"

"Hey, you ok? What's wrong? I thought you were in the car with Balz?" I could here Devin in the background talking to Kylie on the phone. From what I was hearing from his side of the conversation Kylie was about to tell him what had happened.

"I was. I'm fine. I guess. Ricky made Josh switch cars after he yelled at me."

"Why did he yell at you?"

"I-"

"Chris Willows dead." Devin said on the other end of the phone. I heard tires squeal to a stop. He must have been driving apparently.

"WHAT!?!" I couldn't tell if Chris was mad or felt as bad as I did. "Astrid tell me that's not true. Please tell me he's lying."

"I'm wish I could." I started to cry harder then I was before. "I'm sorry Chris. I was about to tell you. That's why josh yelled at me. We were at a rest stop cause Willow are screaming at Josh to pull over and feed me. So he did after he called Ricky and told him to as well. There was a park there and the girls wanted to go play but Ricky said no. After that Josh got me something to drink and we couldn't hear or see them anymore. We heard Sally screaming so we ran into the woods. She screamed again, and when we got there Willow was lying on the ground not moving. I ran over to her- I didn't want to leave her there and that pissed Josh off cause he didn't want to be in the woods anymore after what Sally said. I'm so sorry Chris." I was a complete wreck by now. I could here Chris on the other end crying too. He never cries, never.

"Get to your parents and get some sleep. I'll be there soon." I heard him switching seat and then the car took off. "Jesus Christ Brandon! Next time we need to run from something your driving!" I laughed a little.

"Ok. I miss you."

"I miss you too. I love you. I gotta go. Devin needs to be fixed."

"Ok. I love you too." We hung up and I handed Ricky his phone. After 3 more hours of driving we got to our destination. It only felt like 5 minutes though I must have flawn asleep soon after the phone call ended. I opened my eyes when I felt a pair of arms carry me out of the car. Looking over I saw Chris carrying me. He looked like he had been crying till he passed out. Kind of like what I did. "I'm sorry Chris."

"For what? There was no way you could have prevented this from happening. It wasn't your fault. If it's anyone's fault it's mine. I told Josh to watch the both of you. I knew he would have his hands full trying to keep an eye on both of you. Especially since you hadn't fed yet. Don't be sorry, I should be the one that's sorry." I climbed on his back as Angelo, Ricky, Josh, Brandon, Ryan, and Mike pulled out Willows coffin and started to carry it inside. 2 people walked out of the house. They looked to be in their early 20's. The man lead the guys around back. The girl walked over to me and Chris.

She looks so familiar and I don't know why.
