Chapter 14: We Need Away Out

*Brandon's POV*

After Sami woke up, she quickly fell back asleep. I was walking straight. I think. I really hope I am. I'm not good at direction. I haven't been in the bad lands since she 'died'. But before then I watched my parents die by Chris's granddads hand. And that was when I was 3 so roughly about 100 give or take in vampire years. We all stop aging when were 21 though. In 6 days would be Sami's 21st birthday.

It was getting late out again so I stopped and put Sami down. I was getting hungry. I knew she had to be starving though. Hell her whole coven was probably starving. More then a month of no feeding would drive anybody insane. I little a small fire and sat there. Trying not to think about food. Chicken Wings sound good right about now. I'm spending to much time around Angelo. I was to lost in thought staring up at the sky, nothing, and Sami to notice someone was coming.

"Well what do you know it's Brandon again." Trevor. I looked at him and set his foot on fire. He put it out though. "So your the one that set my room on fire after my sister "died"." I yawned in response. I was tired and hungry. For a vampire that's like being tortured in the Middle Ages if we were human.

"What do you want?"

"Don't be that way. I had a feeling you would find my sister. Alive." I glanced down at Sami's sleeping body laying next to me. I knew exactly why he was here.

"You hurt her I will murder you. Don't even think about laying a hand on her." He just smiled and sat down on the other side of the fire. Which I was having grow higher and forming a circle around the two of us. I just hope she can withstand the heat like I can. When she was younger she would always run from it or pass out.

"Brandon. You know I have to kill her. It's for the best. And to make sure she's dead this time I guess I'm going to have to kill you to. So just hand her over and everything will be fine." This could just be my hunger talking but he looked really good right now and he was starting to piss me off. Nobody threatens Sami and gets away with it. I just hope she wakes up soon so we can get back to Chris to keep him, Astrid, and Willow safe. Without them the vampire coven will not only kill each other for power but they will rip apart the world till there's nothing left but the vampire race. Don't get me wrong we still need human blood but you know what I mean. It'd be worse then the Holocaust.

*Chris's POV*

"Holy. Shit. That was amazing." I was probably smiling like an idiot. Hey I just got laid. "Better then last time babe. Ouch!" Astrid smacked me in the face and just laughed. I wonder how Brandon and Sami are. I hope their alive I need them to keep Willow and Astrid safe. You see when I die Willow gets the thrown when she's 16 but until the Astrid is in charge. I mean unless she dies to then Willow will get it no mater what. If Willow dies and has no other siblings to take over then hell will literally break loose and the world will be destroyed. Covens will start fighting with each other, expose that vampires do in fact exist, and when that happens all little tiny humans will be out into tiny little human camps to be harvested of blood when needed.

"What ya thinking about?" I smiled a weak fake smile and looked at her. Instead of answering I just pulled her close and held her. I was about to fall asleep when I heard someone screaming.

*Devin's POV*

"Let me go you fucking asshole! Devin!"

"Daddy! Do something their gonna hurt mommy!" Where the hell is Brandon when you need him, oh wait I know he went for a walk and got lost almost 3 days ago. Fucking dumb ass. Well now Travis's coven is here and wants Chris but I don't know where he is or what he's doing so they got Kylie. Fucking hell.

"Sally daddy a favor ok?" She looked at me and nodded her head. She knew what I wanted her to do. "Go get Willow and run. Don't look back just run." And she did just that. For being 6 their fast little fuckers.

"Devin what's going on!? Where's Willow!?" Oh now he comes down to see the problem. "Oh... umm can I help you?" Really? They just smiled and threw Kylie into the wall. Don't worry I caught her I'm not that bad of a husband. I grabbed her and locked her in the room with Astrid. Upon running back down stairs I see Chris on his knees being tied down. One had an ax with him.
