No Ordinary Year (A Merome Story) [ON HOLD]

Chapter 9

Alright guys, before this chapter starts, I just want to say how very sorry I am for posting this late.  I got sick and ya, it just made me lose track of time.  But anyway, enough of my rambling, enjoy!!

(Mitch's POV)

Finally, after hours of recording and editing videos, the day is over with.  I can't take another second of being in front of the computer screen.  It gets very exhausting after a while.

I walk out of my office and bump into Jerome.

"Hey Jerome, sorry I didn't see you there."

"No no, it's okay, I was actually coming to talk to you anyway."

"Really?  About what?"

Jerome started sweating as if he was getting nervous of trying to spit out his sentence.

"I was wondering..... do you..... want to... um.... see a movie with me right now?"

Is he asking me out on a date?  That's not possible, he doesn't love me in that way, but I can't resist the offer.  It's a date with Jerome!!

"Um, sure.  Sounds like fun." I say trying to sound cool when really I'm screaming with joy on the inside.

"Cool buddy, I'm just going to call Ryan and then we can head to the theater."

"Wait, is Ryan coming with us?" I asked nervously because for some reason, I'm starting to lose my trust in Ryan.

"Naw, just need to talk to him about business stuff."

And with that, I sighed with relief as Jerome went upstairs.  I had so much excitement inside my body, I didn't know what to do with it.  I just started running throughout the house, and then the minute you know it, I landed hard on the floor.

(Lachlan's POV)

Man I am relieved from making all of those videos.  My hands are throbbing so much, and I don't even know if that's possible.  All of that hard work had made me thirsty.

I get out of my chair and exit my room.  I go down the stairs slowly since I didn't want to use the hand rails with my sore hands.  I turn the corner and as soon as you know it, I crash straight into Mitch.

We both fell to the floor and landed on our backs.  Incredible pain shot through my back, and had the wind knocked out of me, so it felt like I couldn't breathe.

When I finally caught my breathe, I got back up on my feet and helped Mitch out as well.  I then asked him "Why the hell are you running around the house like a crazy maniac?! Are you changing again?!"

He just laugh and responded "No, I'm running around because Jerome just asked me to the movies!"

Omg, is Mitch saying that Jerome asked him out on a date?  Is it true that they like each other more than friends?  Wow, that's just...... wait a second, I can't let Mitch go alone!  What if he gets too nervous and starts freaking out and then changes in front of everyone.  I'm kind of exaggerating at this point, but better safer than never right?

(Ryan's POV)

"Alright then, see ya and have fun." is what I ended with when I hung up on Jerome.  Turns out Mitch and Jerome are going to the movies together.  I think I still have some time to go and bother them (specifically Mitch).  Good thing Jerome is going to stop by to pick up his sweater before the movie starts.
