(Mitch's POV) (last person in photo)

I looked at Jerome (2nd person in photo) laying lifeless in the hospital bed.  He seemed so peaceful and calm, it made me sick.  I would say this is my fault, but it wasn't.

I thought back to when Ryan was fighting me, how he shot Jerome and just ran away.  You have to be pretty soulless to leave one of your best friends in that condition.

I was crying myself a river of tears.  I wanted to jump out the hospital window and speed to Ryan's house so I can claw him to death.

What the hell Mitch!  No you don't!  Don't think about killing anyone, don't stoop to that level.

(Lachlan's POV) (1st person in photo)

I get out of the taxi that dropped me off at the hospital.  I walk in through the front doors and notice Preston (4th person in photo), Rob (3rd person in photo) and Vik (5th person in photo) are all talking at the front desk.  This is a huge surprise to me since they had to fly out from Texas, Canada and England.

"NO!  We are his family too!"  I heard Preston scream.

"Hey guys what's up?" I ask as I walk over to them.

"Oi!  Look it's little Lachy!" Rob tried saying in an Australian accent.

"Yep it's me!  Can I visit room 304?" I ask the desk lady.

"That room is family only." she replied.

"But I am family!" I shouted

"What's your name?"

"Lachlan, Lachlan Power."

"Oh, you can go up then."

"And also my mates have to come with me too." I demanded with a smirk on my face.

She let out a sigh, but then nodded her head to let us pass.

We all entered the elevator at once with everyone asking me questions on what I saw that night Jerome got shot.  I kept telling them that an intruder came in and pulled a gun out, but they knew there was more to the story.  We arrived on the 3rd floor and ran to Jerome's room.  We entered his room and were shocked with what we saw.

(Mitch's POV)

The nurses and doctors have been telling me that they're doing their best on Jerome, to calm down and everything will be alright.  Well they're wrong.  With my supernatural hear, I can listen to Jerome's heart beat slower and slower with each hour that passes by.

Too much blood had left his system, and there wasn't enough to save him in time.  Although, there is one solution:

The bite.

Maybe if I turned Jerome, his internal systems could run normally.  He could heal in two second like I do.

I stand up and scan Jerome's body.  I grab his arm and bend my body over a little so my lips are just barely laying upon his skin.  I turn into my half wolf form (glowing eyes, fangs, claws, pointy ears.) and listen to every second that passes by on the clock.  I open my mouth, and before I can take a bite, I hear Lachlan yelling "MITCH!  WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" along with a few gasps.

I look up and notice Lachlan with an angry expression, and Preston, Rob and Vik behind him confused, yet frightened at the same time.

I transform back into my normal form and put Jerome's arm back.  I sit in a chair speechless with what to say next.
