Hi, I'm Yukio Lei Reyes, a soon-to-be attorney/psychologist. And I-

"LEI! Clean the dishes downstairs!" My brother, Jude hollers from his room.

"Alright!" I holler back and stood up from the computer table that I had been on.

I went downstairs to clean the dishes that had been left on the table. As I went to clean up the dishes and wash them to the best of my ability, I saw my mom with the home phone, blushing furiously. Which, on the contrary, I mentally rolled my eyes at and proceeded to to my chore.

"OF COURSE!" My mother gushed at the phone.

Damn. Almost gave me a freaking heart attack... I finished washing the dishes and my phone vibrated in my pocket. A message.

I checked the message on my phone only to find a group message sent by one of my classmates about her day. Seriously, are phones diaries nowadays!? I deleted the damn message because it's just a waste of phone storage. I returned my phone to it's place in my back shortpocket.

I was working on a school project earlier before my brother hollered about the dishes. After washing them all, I went back to my computer and started finishing my project which was due tomorrow. Yeah, I'm THAT kind of student :P

A few days later, my brother and I were both using the computer. He was using his for a game called 'DotA' and I was using mine for surfing the net. Later, mom called me for something. So, I logged out my facebook and closed my music and went downstairs to check what my mom was hollering about.

"What is it, mom?" I asked her. Seeing she was seated on the living room sofa, drying her hair.

"Change your clothes. We're going to meet an old classmate of mine." She told me.

Classmate? Oh no... This is going to be a very looooong day... I went to my dresser and picked out my clothes. A blue, white and black checkered polo shirt, my black jeans, and my comfy black converse chuck taylors. I packed my stuff, phone, mp3 player, and headset included. You can never go wrong without music.

I went back down expecting my mom to be ready. But, I saw her half dressed, with a periwinkle blouse and is still caking her face with make-up.

I maybe a girl myself, but I never cake my face with make-up. Two reasons. One, I'm freaking allergic to them. Seriously. If I put the damn foundation on, expect my face to be inflamed afterwards. Two, I wear make-up occasionally. As in the literal sense of the word.

I sat down on the other end of the sofa and waited for her to finish up. Almost 10 minutes pass and she's almost done. She's now wearing her periwinkle blouse with black leggings with black heels which the hell I know the name of. Because I never learn the names-slash-brand about freaking clothes, bags and shoes.

Finally. She's done. I stood up and stretched my legs and we are now on the way to their meeting place. It took us about an hour to get there. The traffic was heavy. Not a pretty sight.

When they met, I had one of my headset on my ear and the other dangling in front of me. In case her classmate asked me something and embarrass my mother by not answering because I didn't hear her question.

They keppt babbling things I never understood and never bothered to. I knew I would never understand it.

Time came when they had to part ways. Time flies fast when you're just listening to music and just talking to your friends on the phone. Occasionally, they would ask me about something and that's it. Mom dragged me to stores where she wants to buy a few things. I just shrugged and followed her around and occasionally nod at things. I had both earpiece on as I followed her. Then, I was surprised as one of the earphones are forcefully taken off.

I turned, to see my mother glaring at me. "I've been talking to you. You're doing it on purpose aren't you!?" She whisper-yells at me.

My eyes widen in shock.  "N-no." I said and looked at her. Hoping that she would leave my player alone. It was the  only thing that I could use in my leisure time.

"Remove it, or I'll throw it away." She growled at me. I inwardly sighed and and reluctantly kept my player.

As we finished in shopping, we went home and she kept mumbling unintelligible things as we arrived home. And I quickly jumped out of the car and changed my clothes.

At exactly 10:30pm, I went to bed without saying 'good night' to both of them.

As I was in my lala-land, I was slowly awakened by something really annoying. Talking at a time like this, as if no one was sleeping. I grunted and rolled over to the other side. Then, the damn talking got louder. Someone needs freaking sleep! Talk somewhere else! You talk like you swallowed a megaphone! It was really annoying, I tell you. It nearly took all my willpower not to lash out and start snapping at the ones talking like they had megaphones oh their throats.

I ignored it to get more sleep. But, the talking got really loud. As if there were so many people inside the freaking room.

So far, I've only recognized two voices. My brother, Jude's voice. And that annoying pitch of voice that I've always hated. I got fed up, so I sat up on my bed.

"Oh, she's awake." The annoying pitch said. I'm calling her annoying pitch because she has this really high voice and it's kinda squeaky. It annoys the hell out of me.

"Hey fatty, wake up and cook breakfast." Jude says as he kicks the bed.

I looked at the clock in front of me. 9:30 in the freaking morning.. They woke me up just to cook breakfast? Since he's older, he's working now. And word got to us that he bragged to his officemates that he could tell me or make me do whatever the hell he wants and not argue with him about it. He never tells anything else about me but this. ALWAYS.

I stood up, folded my blanket, noticed mom's clothes on the bed, which means she left again.

"Hurry up, DEBU! (Fatty)" Jude shouted with a smug look on his face. Annoying pitch never tells him to stop because she herself is doing it too. Because my brother shows to her that it's okay to do it to me. He knows I never fight back. If I do, which is a rare occurance, she goes and tells my brother, then we argue. Then, mom comes and makes us make up. I wouldn't talking to them afterwards.

Without any other choice, I cooked up some sunny-side up egg, and some plain white rice. I have this habit to burn the side of the egg, making it a bit crispy. For the two other eggs, I don't burn it and use oil instead of butter.

Do they help set the table? Of course not. They won't come till the food's ready. So, I did that too. I set up everything, placemats, plates, utencils, and the seasoning. Maybe they already heard the plates because I can hear them coming down the stairs.

Do they compliment the cooking? Nope. They just dig in. No 'this tastes nice' or a thank you. Nothing. Of course, they wouldn't say that. They're busy stuffing their faces.

So yeah. I know it's a lame update. Because, I couldn't focus much because I'm tired. It's already 1:35am here, and I was supposed to update on my other story, called there's a wolf on my house' but, really, I had forgotten my draft on Japan, so I'm currently writing a new one, so please forgive me for the delay. Anyway, I hope that this story will come to a successful close. I hope you all will enjoy this non-fiction story.
