Chapter 3- RF Online

Ah yes. I'm finally updating. I've been busy finding a place to work peacefully and reminiscing a few memories to add here. :) though some of you aren't really interested in this story about our lives, well, it's really up to all of the readers if you want to read it. :) To those reading this, Thank You Very Much.. -Jonas' POV-

Yeah, Hi. I'm Jonas Villanueva, an IT specialist. And before I get inerrupted, I'll just stop. 

"JONAS! HELP ME CLEAN THE HOUSE!" That's my Mother. Marylyn Villanueva. Yes, I'm the oldest of the two. I also have a Sister. Caroline Villanueva. 

After helping her, I headed to the Computer Shop near our house. I am what you call a 'player' but not a playboy whatso-ever. A Gamer is what I meant. I play online games. A friend actually recommended this game to me. It's called 'RF Online' name's shabby, but it looks fun to play. I created a character and named him, ELBandido. I don't know where the hell I got that name, but I actually like it. 

RF Online... Hmm... Seems Challenging. But it looks a bit... Boring.. Unlike in Tantra where we are treated as Gods. My character looks like a kid hitting puberty... Nonetheless carrying a weapon that somehow looks like a giant cannon-like gun... Too heavy for a kid that I can say. For the view of the map, quite nice, but too twisted and far for my little legs to explore. When you go to an exit, sometimes you live, sometimes there are traps or enemy races going to kill you. Lots of female characters... And  hell it's hard to tell if it's a real girl or a playing girl. Seems legit, but you'll swallow your tongue the moment you see it. 

You might be wondering, why I haven't introduced my dad? Actually, I don't know my Biological Father. All I know is that, he died in a gunshot wound. A few years later, Mom remarried to an attorney. Atty. Albert James Villanueva. He's my step-dad so to say. He actually kept and adopted me into his family.

And here's the thing. You may think that I'm a grown-ass man and whatso-ever, but hey, I'll let you in on a secret. I'm actually a romance otaku-slash-dreamer. I wanted to know how it feels like to be loved like in the anime. I'm dreaming to have a girl that would care, nurture and understand me as me. Not because of what I look like.

It's been a few weeks since I've started this game. I've met a handful of people, some became my friends, some became my enemies. I also met this guild, called 'NeverMissLegate' and I also met one of their members. Her character name was yonna. She was pretty. I fell in love with her the moment we shared the same party. Everytime she was online, and was looking for a party, I always invite her to my party. 

After a few days, I met another member of the guild. I've seen her character around HQ for a while and also in the Crag Wars. Her name is ThunderLady. Well, I think it is. It so rumbled, mixed with upper case and lower case letters. She advised me to add yonna to my friend list and try to talk to her. Well, I did. I'm starting to realize that this girl, yonna, actually has a boyfriend. I tried to court her, but she said, ' Sorry, but I am not for courting' Then, from her status in her Facebook, she seems to act hurt, which is annoying in a girl. 

Then, Crag Wars came. I kept an eye on the Guild. Most of them are present. But... Wait... I looked at the screen carefully. The mark of the guild master... I manuevered my invisible character near ThunderLady and I opened a chat.. 

>> This is a first. You're a Guild Leader. Quite an achievement there. 

>> Ah no. I'm only a Tempo Leader. The Guild Leader had to be away and passed the title to the two of us. LittleBanana and I. 

>> Oh. It's also a first that many members are present. 

>> :) We had an agreement. 

After that, the war started. It ended with a win and I logged out and went home. As I opened the door to my room, I actually thought about that ThunderLady. Who is that girl-slash-boy anyway? I don't even know if it's a boy or a girl. I have to know first. I actually vowed that tomorrow, I will ask for his/her facebook. 

Two days passed. I didn't have a chance to go to the shop because I was pretty busy. I helped Mom out and was tweaking my phone and I didn't notice it was night time already. I woke up the next day and finished the chores quickly but surely. I rushed to the shop and rented a computer. I opened my account and checked it she's online. To my disappontment, she's not. A few minutes later, my friend from the Guild, LittleBanana, PMed me. 

>> Hey, wanna help out the guild? 

>> Yeah sure. Invite me. 

Surely enough, he did invite me to the party. Which was already full till one of the lower leveled characters left. I wondered what kept them, so I used the partychat. 

>> Is this still going to continue? 

>> Yeah, we'll have a friend over. She's going to be a damager. 

>> Stupid! She's gonna help me tank the mobs!

>> You're STUPID! she'll decide what she wants. 

These guys... They're fighting over what the girl will do once she reaches the party. The hell is that supposed to mean.. 

A minute had passed. Still no sign of the Damager. Is she even coming? 

>> Is she really coming? 

>> Yeah, she just helped out a newbie level up. But she's coming over now. 

She'd better. I don''t even know who it is. Then the party window appeared. My heart raced as I read the name of the newcomer. Oh no... ThunderLady... 

>> Hey SnowKat! You're LATE!  -LB

>> I'm SORRY! The kid wouldn't go without doing something for me. -TL

>> Oh, so, let's ROLL! Click the Freaken KEY! -Mimiko

As the Dungeon started, TL lead the way. She started to tank the monsters with her partner, Grieger by her side. I noticed a message at the side of my screen. 

LB: She's a girl you know. I know you have interest in her. 

EL: I don't know. 

Then, to my surprise, he actually broadcasted, 'TL HAS A STALKER!' On the freaking partychat!

TL's partychat was like, O____O What the hell are you talking about? 

All of a sudden, everyone in the Guild was Silent. Only the lowbie was talking to me. All the members of the guild were quiet. I knew they were talking to the guildchat. And I gotta admit, I'm pretty damn nervous about it. 

The Dungeon ended, everyone parted ways, I got her Facebook, she's a girl. She's not a poser. I even got her number. She gave it to me when I asked for it. She seems to be a Suplada-type of a girl.

I gotta admit, it's hard to write a POV that's not really you. So, I got this sort of POV from the real person. I got help from him. It's kinda hard y'know. HAHA. But, I really wish that, I could return back to this time. I love to remember this scene of our lives.
