"GIVE IT BACK!" I cry to my older brother. We were related, you could totally tell. We both had black hair and big, yellow eye. His and my bat wings both had a red glow to them and we both had pale skin.
He, however, was ten years older than me. I was the youngest and he was the oldest, it sucked.
"How about you fly up here an take it from me, Maroon?" He mocks as he hangs upside down of the tree.
"ITS RED! LEARN MY NAME!" I cry. I can feel tears running down my face.
"Then fly up here and get it!" He mocks.
"Maybe I will!"
"You can barely leave the ground!"
"I can too!" I run and jump as high as I can as allow my bat wings to spread but all I do it get a face full of mud.
"Good try!" He rocks and flips down from the tree.
"Now," I wipe off mud from my red and black t-shirt. "Gimme back Quell!"
"You mean this thing?" He holds out a ratty fox stuffed animal.
"Yes now gimme back Quell!"
"Make me!"
"I will."
"Ok... Give me your worse." He tosses Quell in the air like a baseball.
"GIVE IT BACK!" Sprint up to him and punch him in the gut. To my surprise, he flys back into a tree. I swipe Quell up from the mud and run back to the house crying.
"Moma!" I scream, tracking mud into our small house. "Moma moma End is being mean to me!"
"Now now." My mom came over and picked me up, "What did that big bully do to you now?" She stares into my eyes, her skin almost glowing red with blood as her eyes brighter yellow than the sun. She smiled, showing fangs and he bat wings were tucked neatly behind her back, them also being almost red like mine.
"He took Quell." I whimper. My mom puts me down and takes Quell from my hands.
"Oh no!" She gasps.
"WHAT!?" I scream.
"Quell has been contaminated."
"With what!" I scream and run after her as she walks ion the kitchen.
"A demon has taken Quell as it's vessel."
"Oh no!" I scream, being totally legit.
"We must preform a special ritual to banish the demon!"
"But how!?"
She smiles a sly smile at me, "TO THE WASH ROOM!" She runs of and I almost trip over myself and run after her.
For a family of six, we had a small house. We had a living room with three couches, only one of them big enough for End to lie down on. It sat around a fire pit and next to it was a shelf with all pictures of out family. If you keep going down this hall, you will reach four rooms. The first one, the bathroom. The rest are bedrooms. Me and moma share a bedroom, Fang and Mage (Fang being four years older than me and Mage being seven) and the last one is for the boys, Ender/ End who is 14 and Marvel who is nine. I climb into the bathroom and see my mom scrubbing Quell with a washboard.
"Is that how you banish demons?" I point to the soapy water.
"You bet! They hate baths."
I gasp, "Does that mean imma demon?"
She thinks for a second, "We may not know for sure. How about you take a bath just to be safe."
I make a face. "Id rather turn into a squid-like monster!"
She laughs and pulls Quell out of the tub.
"And now," she smiles and takes a step back, leaving a black shadow copy of herself standing with Quell in her hands. I clap, I loved her magic.
"What now?" I wonder out loud.
"This!" She pulls her wings back and it the small room she sends a big wind at the stuffed animal. It drys in seconds and she breaks the copy of herself and grab Quell right before he landed in the tub again.
"Here you are! A not-demon infested Quell!" I grab as give my mom a big hug
"Thank you!" I shout with a smile. I grab it and run down the hall.
As I pass the loving room and almost enter the kitchen (it's all one room) I notice Mage sitting on one of then couches reading a book.
"Hey Mage!" I call and run over to her. "Guess what? Quell got infested by demons so mom took a washboard and ban-"
"No, Red." Mage angrily snaps her book shut. "I was not just reading a book and yes, I want to hear all about your preposterous story of demons."
"Are you joking?"
"Yes." She says through gritted teeth. He was only eleven, yet she was already smarter than most hoped to be.
"What's your book about?" I ask.
"It's just a biography about the royalty on Mewni and growing up there."
"What's a Mewni?"
"Mewni is a planet in a mother dimension."
"Dimension?"
"Yes they are different worlds entirely."
"Huh?"
"Ugh you are so stupid. We all revolve around one low light star, called the light planet. There are seven planets, give or take. All have different atmospheres, therefore are called different things. There is our planet, the Dark Planet because we are farthest away from the sun, yet the atmosphere around us makes this planet inhabitable. There are seven other planets-"
"I'm sorry Mage but when I talk to you I'm more lost then if I don't." I admit as leave.
"Mage she's four years old!" I hear Marvel snap. "Take a load off."
"Did she leave?"
"Uh... Yeah?"
"Then the purpose of my statements fulfilled there use."
"Ok... Whatever you say book worm."
"Still a compliment!" She shouts at Marvel as he enters the kitchen.
"I know!" Marvel grabs an apple and winks at me. He and Fang were always nice to me. My mom leaned down next to him and I realize how different they look. He had white hair with black streaks and yellow-brown eyes. He was very strong and enjoyed ripping Mage's dictionaries in half.
"So mom," he says looking at her, "I was thinking-"
"LOOK OUT!" I hear Fang scream. I duck under the table as a ball flew through and smashed through a cabinet. I look up as she stares scared at the broken cabinet. She and Marvel looks alike, same eyes and skin tone but she had white hair with black streaks (there is a difference) and she's also tall for her age of 8, although she was pretty mature too.
"What was that?" Moma asks.
"A shadow canon ball?" Fang smiles innocently. "Me and Marvel have been having ambush fights."
"It was Fang's idea!" Marvel blames.
"Not in the house please," moms sighs.
"Ok." Marvel and Fang shrug together and leave the house.
"We have a wild family." I come out from under the table and sit on it.
"Yup." She agrees. "But you know I love all you kids just the way you are!"
"When's Daddy coming home?" I notice even Mage looks up from my book.
Moma hugs me and mutters, "I don't know."HEYO GUYS!!!
