my bestfriends brother: Nathan Sykes Fanfiction. {COMPLETED}

Chapter Seven.

A/N: I thought I'd write a few more chapters because I'm really into writing this story at the moment and I thought, why not?!
I think I'm also going to start a new fanfiction, I started writing it on another account of mine (teedoubleyou) but I might put it on this account :D so that might be up in a few weeks or so.

                                                                        Chapter 7:


"Wakey wakey Lacey" Nathan said, standing over the bed, fully dressed, he must have been up a few hours.
I pulled the duvet off me and went and had a shower, I dried and straightened my hair, put on my faded high waisted studded shorts, converse, baggy black vest top and black ray bans.
I walked downstairs to find Nathan on his phone. "Come on you bundle of social awkwardness where are you taking me?" I asked.
"We'll that's for me to know and you to find out" he winked.
I stuck my tongue out at him, I put my bag over my shoulder and Nathan picked up his car keys, we got in his black range rover and he drove me to his 'secret destination' soon, I realised he'd drove me to universal studios in Orlando, which was really cute because I told him at Disney land that I would love to go there, I found it adorable that he had remembered.

"it's like our first date... but not our first date, like you said you wanted to do it on our first date" he said, "aw, nathan, i love it, you're so adorable" i giggled.

he smiled, he laced his fingers in between mine and we walked through the entrance.

we walked and talked and went on loads of rides, it was just an amazing time. 

we went into this photobooth and had some pretty cute photos together, then we went to the gift shop and i brought a lot of stuff, i always do.

the sun was setting and it had been the perfect date.

we drove round a bit of LA for a bit, and we drove past the hollywood sign and nathn parked the car and we walked down the hollywood walk of fame, a few paparazzi's had followed us through out the day, but i didnt really pay much attention. 

once we had walked a few blocks we walked back and made our way back to the house, we were welcomed by jay sitting on the couch with tia on his shoulder, "how have you two love birds been?" Jay asked us, "great thanks jay" Nathan said, we made our way upstairs,

"so did you like today?" he asked, shutting the door behind him, i put my merchandice in my case, "no i didnt like it nath... i loved it!" i said. he grinned and gave me a huge hug lifting me off the floor and twirling me around. 

he put on some sweatpants and lay on the bed, tapping away on his phone.

i sat at the desk on my laptop, with my pyjama shorts on and nathans huge hoodie on, i scrolled throught my twitter feed, to find a tweet off nathan:

@NathanTheWanted: Perfect Day with a Perfect Girl @LaceyReynolds *photobooth picture attached*

i retweeted it and favorited it, i scrolled through some more mentions to find a tweet of the girl i met at the gig a few months bakc who had now become my twitter buddy, she had posted a link and tagged me and nathan with it, i clicked it it was another one of those celebrity news sites, i clicked it and read what it said,

Nathan and Lacey Splitsville?!

okay so all you Laythan shippers this news might shock you, over the past few days it had been rumoured that the couple of 6 months Lacey Reynolds, 18 and the wanted member Nathan Sykes, 20 are heading towards a break up, Max george, Nathans fellow band member and Jess Sykes, Nathans sister who is also Lacey's bestfriend tweeted #congratslacey, most people thought you know, maybe a wedding, Maybe a baby, but no, it was later said that she was going on an adventure to what was later cleared up as she is moving to London for 3 years for fulfil her dream at university. Nathan tweeted, "going to miss @LaceyReynolds, gonna be hard" a source then spoke to us, saying:

"it has been hard for them recently, they have being trying so hard to act like it is a perfect relationship when really it is far from that, Lacey and Nathan are two different people, and the fact that he is dating his sisters bestfriend is also hard for his sister, the ages difference is also a strain on their relationship as nathan wants to settle down, but Lacey is unsure. Nathan is trying so hard to keep everything going when Lacey just wants to go to London and get started on her university work. the pair are  unsure whether a long distance relationship is going to work" 

well, we are unsure what to believe because, the pair were looking loved up last night on a special twitcam that nathan did with Lacey and today the par were seen in Univeral orlando and on the hollywood walk of fame looking like the perfect couple. we dont think that it is over for Laythan just yet. view our Laythan best moments gallery below.

what a load of crap, i thought.

"Lace, have you saw that website that thinks we're splitting? load of crap" he said, wrapping his arms round me from behind, "see mr. sykes i knew dating you would be hard" i laughed, he winked at me and kissed me on my cheek. "by the way, me and you, we're on Ellen tomorrow" he said, "what? me on TV?!" i said, "dont worry it'll be fine, there is nothing to worry about" he said, i sighed and he laughed at me, "you're so beautiful you know" he said, "you're not bad yourself nathan" i winked he kissed the top of my head and climbed into bed, i went downstairs, Jess was talking to Jay i went and sat next to her, i let her carry on her conversation with him while i tweeted: 

@LaceyReynolds: no, me and nathan are NOT splitting, we are really happy, we're both upset that i am moving away but we are not splitting up, #LaythanForever xxxx

"are you okay Lacey?" Jay asked, "yeah, i'm just tired of all the rumours" i sighed, "what rumours?" he asked, i read the article to both of them and they both looked shocked, "dont worry, it'll be fine, nathan loves you" Jess said i smiled, "guess what  though?" i said, "i'm going on the ellen show tomorrow with Nathan" i said, "no way, that's so cool" Jess said, "not if you have mild stage fright" i said, "you'll be absolutely fine" Jay said, getting up, "anyway, i'm super tired, night" jay said, we both chorused "night jay" he trailed off upstairs, "night jess" i said giving her a hug and going up to mine and nathans room and getting into bed, i fell straight to sleep
