Chapter Thirteen.

A/N: woah only two chapters ago this fanfic only had 90 reads and now it's got over 400! I know it's not a lot but I'm super super super happy!

Chapter thirteen.

"See you later babe" Nathan said croakily as he went into the operation room, I sat there in the waiting room, I logged onto twitter and tweeted:

@LaceyReynolds: with Nathan on voice rest, it's gonna be a lot quieter;) jk, love you baby!

Then I retweeted a few tweets from fans with messages like:

"Send Nathan my love x o x o"

"#weloveyounathfromTWfanmily"

"Hope everything goes well for baby nath x"

I teared up a bit, I won't be able to hear his beautiful Gloucester accent for a while.

A few hours later, Nathan was back to normal, just without the talking.

We decided pre-operation to text each other.

My phone buzzed:

Nathan- I'm fine babe:) I freakin' love you!<3

Me- so so so glad to hear that babe, I love you too<3!

Nathan- lets get McDonalds and then watch a film, but you know in silence :(<3!

Me- okie dokie<3.

We walked over to my white range rover and drove to the nearest McDonalds, we ordered and went back to our hotel.

I put all the food on a plate and put Mean Girls in the DVD player, it was a girly film but Nathan doesn't mind.

He pecked me on the lips, and we began eating our McDonalds, he tapped away on his phone and my phone then buzzed.

Nathan- you seriously didn't think I was going on a kiss rest too did ya?!;) hehe<3

Me- of course not ;)<3!!

we were in america this time back in "the wanted life house".

"babe" i said rolling over to face nathan, his morning face is so adorable.

"morning babe!" he said his voice back the way it was before.

"woah, your...voice" i said smiling at him.

"guess what i was practising when you were asleep?" he winked, he got out of bed and i sat up, pulling down his tshirt that i was wearing.

he braced himslef then suddenly:

"i SAID PEEEEOPLLLLLEE" came out of his mouth.

"i've been doing voice therapy and stuff in private, i've been talking for 2 months, i just had to act like i was still recovering"

"no way, thats awesome, i've missed your beautiful Gloucester accent these past few months" i smiled.

"aw baby" he said, blushing.

he pecked me on the lips.

"right, we need to get ready, the lads have a performance in 20 minutes, i'm gonna get my ass down there and surprise them" he said. 

i jumped out of bed, straightened my hair, slipped on my baggy jumper and studded shorts (outfit on the side) and my converse and then we both hopped in my car and we drove to the studio of the morning television show they were making an appearence at.

nathan told the producers what he wanted to do, but made them promise not to tell the rest of the lads.

before the lads were about to perform, jay spotted me behind the camera guy and came over.

"hey lacey-babe what are you doing here?" he said.

"oh nathans still asleep and i heard you guys leave so i came to see you today, cant i see my favourite 4 lads and a cardboard cut out of my boyfriend perform?" i said.

"sure! i was just glad to see you here, you havent been on the road with us for like ever since nathans on vocal rest back at the LA house" he said, i smiled at him and they went to perform, they took there spots and i found you began to play, they all sung until nathans solo, when the tech guy turned the microphones off and Nathan pushed down his cardboard cut out and belted out " I SAID PEEEEEEOPPPLEEE WE'RE ALL LOOKING FOR LOVE TONIGHT, SOMETIMES WE CANT SEE IT WE'RE ALL BLINDED BY THE LIGHT AND WE ALL GET LO-O-O-O-O-OW SEARCHING FOR THAT PIECE OF MIND JUST WHEN I'VE GIVEN UP LOOKING FOR SOME KIND INSIDE, THATS WHEN I FOUND YOUUUUU" 

the lads look stunned, once his solo had finished the intimate crowd that were there cheered, i beamed with proudness and the lad dived onto him cheering, jay grabbed my wrist and pulled me onstage. 

"you knew it didnt you lacey" he said, i nodded.

"i knew it, i knew it!" he said, then nathan came over to me, "did you like that babe?" he said, " i loved it, oh baby, i'm so proud of you" i smiled, he kissed me softly.

i was completely oblivious to the fact that the audience, the camera crew and that moment was on live television, i was just so proud of nathan.

i blushed slightly as i remembered and backed away awkwardly.

nathan gave me a cheeky little wink.

then the lads went over the the presenter to be interviewed.
