Jamen, yet, was still amazed that he could be a human or dragon. But he had a lot to learn. He needed to learn about elements, breathing fire, and flying. As the dragon's rules , Jamen was told by Mire that he couldn't be in the temple as a human. But of course he needed to learn how to change into a dragon. It was pretty much basics for him.
After he was taught on how to do it, he learned other great things also. To learn what an element was, he had to learn what it was to a dragon. Jamen got a little bored because he already knew these things, but he still had to learn.
Then he learned to breathe white fire. It was really interesting to him since he was a dragon. He had to learn on how to blow it at least. It was really easy for him.
He learned to focus his energy to his fire to create cool things. One was a legendary move that should take years to learn. It was his Legendary White Flame. He really wanted to learn it, fast.
One night, Jamen went to the pillars to wonder what Jake was doing now. He was the heir to Mirike so it's really scary to think about what he was doin. Then he was picks up by something, but he didn't know what it was. It was like a shadow to him. So he blew fire at it but it was deflected by a dark flame. Jamen thoughtof two possible reasons. Jake, or Mirike. But Mirike was trapped so he instantly knew who it was. Jamen was dropped on the ground and Jake fell in from of him. "Hello, Jamen," Jake said in a dark voice. "Jake," Jamen replied. "Are you amazed?" Jake sais as he turned to swipe his tail at Jamen. He flew back to dodge it. Jamen blew a white flare but it was deflected again by Jake. "You're weak Jamen," Jake said. "Not quick enough to even touch me." "Hisbhead have you trained. It would take years for you to learn so much," Jamen replied.
Jake explained to Jamen that he was met by Mirike in his dream. He came and gave Jake half of his power. Jamen wished he had learned more about this. But he blew at Jake with a good flame in the face. From what Jamen had learned from the dragons, other dragons are either fireproof or their scales are super hard. "Why do this Jake, why? You don't have to do this," Jamen said, trying to convince him. "You don't know what power I have that you don't," Jake replied. "I bet you don't know this," Jamen said as he shot a flashing flame at Jake. "Ahhh!" Jake said with a horrible cry. "Clever trick." But Jamen was already gone by that time. Jamen was very weak and tired from not training enough and the small talk with Jake. He didn't have much power left to get back home. While heading back, Jamen saw Mire, Sapphiran and the other two dragons. Then Jamen fainted in mid-air. As he did, he had a vision. Barsiek, his dad, appeared and met Jamen. Jamen was in his human form. "I'll give you half my power. Stay strong my son," Barsiek said as he was gone in a flash.
Jamen woke up instead of having small wings, they get to full age wings. His powerful wings made him fly even faster and farther. He was a full grown dragon, the first out of the five. He had horns and everything. The other dragons were very surprized, especially Sapphiran.
