I'm sooo sorry for not updating this in like forever. literally. forever.

anyways I'm basically working on three books at the same time so I got a bit side-tracked by the other two. plus a new one is already a-brewin' in my head. my apologies. I've worked out a bit of a schedule now. I hope it will improve my updating when it comes to this book... there's only a few more chapters anyways.

enjoy!

EMILIA'S POV-

About a month passed by, and everything seemed normal in the asylum so far. Well, as normal as things could be in a fucking nuthouse anyways. Everyone just continued with their daily routines like they always had.

Of course, in the back of my mind I always wondered who the guard was that had done all these despicable things to Hayley and Ashley. I sat behind the piano, playing my usual songs as I went over it in my head.

At the far end of the recreational area was a guard who went by the name of Austin Carlile. Though he looked very intimating, and seemed to be glaring at literally everyone basically all of the time, I didn't think it was him.

Walking up and down the hallway outside of the recreational area was a guard who went by the name of Frank Iero. He hadn't been here that long. Ironically, he actually arrived here not long before the first incident. But did I think it was him? No. It couldn't be. Hills trusted this guy in a way. There was no way he'd trust a new guard that quickly.

Then at the entrance of the recreational area was the guy known as Ronnie Radke standing guard, making sure where everyone was. He was kind of an asshole to patients. It wouldn't honestly surprise me if he'd lash out on someone so every now and then. But rape? No, I didn't think so. Besides, this guy was full of himself, he talked way too god damn much. The guard who did this was quiet, maybe even a little obedient towards Doctor Hills. Something Radke definitely wasn't.

But, hold on... Doctor Hills mentioned that the guy who did this had been a patient around here? Patients hadn't been released here ever since old Doctor Hills instated his dick of a younger brother as the head of this asylum.

There must be a file on someone's release though. On the guy who is now the guard. They couldn't just have him disappear off the face of the earth and come back as a guard, could they?

I mean they probably made Hayley and Ashley disappear, but... I don't know. This just seemed too complicated. It was worth checking out though, right? But I'd have to get into Hills's office. And there was no way I could manage to do that by myself.

Vic poking my cheek is what pulled me from my thoughts. I gave him a look and he just looked back at me curiously. 'You stopped playing.' He signed to me.

"Right, sorry." I mumbled as I looked back around the recreational room, noticing that the few patients who would always be dancing to my music were staring at me expectantly.

I bit my lip and sighed. "I'll be back later." I said to Vic before closing the piano.

'Are you okay?' He looked a little concerned.

I forced a smile and nodded. "I'm fine, don't worry."

I gave him a quick hug and made my way to the door of the recreational room, Radke eyeing me as I walked up to it. "And where do you think you're going?" He asked, an evidently bored tone in his voice as he stepped in front of me.

"The bathroom. Or would you prefer I'd take a leak right here?" I snapped, not that it was any of his business. Okay, so it sort of was, but I just really didn't like the way he spoke to me.
