shit is about to go down!

KELLIN'S POV-
This was my chance. Or, at least, this had to be my chance. I had to expose to the world what was happening in this asylum. And not just the murders and disappearances of those girls, but the rest too...
People may have been pretending that everything that happened within these walls was right out of the books, but really, it wasn't. The testing they did was sketchy, to say the least. And they definitely weren't helping the patients. Hell, many of them had no serious reason for being here in the first place.
Like Oliver, for example. He was admitted just because he didn't want to take over the family company. Then there was this girl, Amy I think her name was. She was admitted because she was lesbian. Then let's not forget Victor. That kid was simply traumatized and protecting himself by not talking. And then, of course, there was Emilia. I still didn't know the details to her story, but I was sure that she wasn't crazy.
Doctor Hills was the crazy one. I knew that for sure now.
How could everyone here be so blind to it?
Perhaps they were all puppets of whatever game he was playing.
I had overheard one day that Hills was going to be gone for quite a few hours, which was the perfect time for me to sneak into his office and look for those files. Maybe some other things too. Anything that could help me expose him.
There were several file cabinets in his office. It would take me a while to go through all of them, but I had time. After searching through the drawers of his desk, I stumbled upon one drawer that I couldn't open. It had a lock on it. Lucky for me, when I was younger I used to break into things quite often... yes dad, your trophy son used to break into buildings, graffiti the walls and what not. So when I got what I needed, I managed to pick the lock on the drawer and opened it. Inside were some random papers, and a ring with a bunch of keys attached to it.
"Bingo." I muttered victoriously.
The first file cabinet that I managed to open with one of the keys, held numerous files from patients I didn't recognize. Patients that weren't even here anymore. Patients who died within the asylum during the first year that Hills became the boss around here. Some of them were natural deaths; some of them were suicides, and some of them didn't even have a cause. That was curious.
Some of the photos that went along with the unidentified causes of death were pretty horrifying. In several of the photos I could see bloodshot eyes, puncture wounds on the patient's temples and burn marks on their wrists and ankles... A select few with incisions around their stomach area.
Was Hills still performing old age experiments on patients? That sounded ridiculous. But it was exactly what it looked like. And it wasn't good.
I put the files back where they belonged and moved on to the next cabinet, with a slightly horrified feeling in my gut. The second cabinet however wasn't as gruesome. It mostly contained files of the patients that were still here. Detailed records of their progress and everything. Nothing odd whatsoever, apart from some of the reasons why the patients were thrown in here. But we already knew about that.
I was a bit surprised when I came by Emilia's file. That wasn't supposed to be here. I had her file in my room, since she was my patient. Unless... no I didn't have time for that right now. Whatever would be in this file was either going to be bullshit or it was something that I was sure she would've told me herself if it was important.
