Chapter 5 - Cap, Stark

Chapter 5 - Cap, Stark (By the way, most of my chapter names suck. So please if you have a better idea for a chapter title suggest it in comments. Also the pic is of Tony when he heard Hela Sing

"What are you doing Loki" I ask him as I re-materialize next to him on the balcony. He turns towards me and stares at me for a moment before asking. The orchestra plays in the background

"What can't call me father now?"

"What are you doing on earth?" I ask him.

"Mingard" he says emphasizing the word "needs a ruler."

"You know Earth is under Thor's protection" I say as he starts to walk towards the stairs with me following.

"Thor will have problems getting here then" Loki says nonchalantly.

"Why?" I ask alarmed.

"The Bifrost is destroyed."

"How?" I ask but he ignores me.

Instead he continues down into the crowd while I turn Ghost and follow. He knocks one man out by whacking him in the head then grabs another man and I try to stop him but he puts a temporary freeze spell and my magic is so weak from using it earlier that I can't break the spell. He pulls out a device and puts it on the man's face and I look away. He changes into his armor and finally destroys the spell as he leaves and I follow him still in Ghost form. "Now you can watch" he says to me happily. He walks across the street ans stops "Kneel before me" he says as he replicates himself a couple of times to control the crowd. "I said..." he starts when no one listens and steps forward "...Kneel!!!!" he shouts across the crowd as he slams his scepter down causing the top of the scepter on his and all the replicas to light up. The crowd turns towards him and begins to kneel. he lifts his arms, "Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel." His replicas disappears as he walks to the center of the crowd.

Once brave old man stands up "Not to men like you" he says.

"There are no men like me" Loki argues.

"There are always men like you" The man replies.

"Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example" Loki says as he lifts his scepter and it powers up. I get ready to leap in the way but I would have been a second too late except luckily Captain America jumps in front of the man and deflects the beam with his Shield and back at Loki.

"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing" Cap says.

"The solider..." Loki says using his scepter to help him stand "...a man out of time."

"I'm not the one who's out of time" Cap replies. Then the Quin jet pulls up behind Cap appearing from the dark sky and a gun unfolds from it's belly aimed at Loki.

"Loki drop the weapon and stand down" A voice comes from the jet. Loki sends a blast from the scepter at the quin jet but the pilot maneuvers the jet out of the way. As Loki is distracted Cap throws his shield at him. It hits him in the chest and Cap takes advantage of that moment by grabbing his shield and punching him in the jaw. Loki aiming for his face swings the scepter. Cap holds up his shield blocking it and Loki uses the bottom of the specter to flip the shield up from where they were clashing and stabs him in the stomach. Cap rolls backwards on defense before throwing his shield again. Loki blocks it while Cap lunges at him and trows a punch. Loki twists out of the way and swings back with his scepter. Cap ducks while Loki tries to hit him atop the head. I bounce on the balls of my feet looking for an opening where I can join the fight but Cap seems to be doing fine and anyway I don't find any. Loki swings his scepter again knocking Cap on his stomach a couple of feet away. Loki walks over while Cap is still recovering and uses the tip of the scepter to keep his head down.

"Kneel" Loki says angrily.

"Not today" Cap hisses through clenched teeth as he goes to the side and kicks him in the back. Then suddenly AC/DC starts pouring from the quin jet and I know Tony has finally arrived. Tony comes flying in aims a well timed blast at Loki and lands in his signature stance. He stands and I'm pretty sure every weapon on his suit is at the ready aiming at Loki.

"Make a move Reindeer Games" Tony says threatening, his voice slightly metallic through the suit. Cap puts his arm down with his shield attached and steps forward. Loki de-materializes his armor and scepter and puts his hands up in surrender. Tony's weapons shut down and he puts his arms down, "Good move."

"Mr.Stark" Cap says his head tilting slightly towards him.

"Captain" Tony says his head tilting slightly towards Cap as the quin jet pulls up behind them.
