I thought that was odd, but I guess it was time for Stage 2 of PaRappa's story, or Baby Baby. The stage name was, "Cheer Up, PaRappa!" What happened to PaRappa that caused him to be so upset? The cutscene began where Stage 1 ended. Amazingly, PaRappa spoke to Chief Puddle, "M-My dad. While I was outside playing with PJ, he was seeing how far you could go while texting and driving. And then, 30 miles later, he...he..." And then PaRappa started crying.
Chief Puddle wiped off PaRappa's tears and said, "Cheer up, PaRappa. My grandma passed away when I was your age, but you'll be happier if you talk about it." PaRappa smiled his usually cheery smile, and the cutscene ended. Stage 2 started up, and everything was like it should be. No sadness, no concerns, nothing. Stage 2 was like how it should've been for Stage 1: cheery and normal.
