LukeNo matter how hard I tried I couldnt keep my eyes from landing on Demi. When shes not around I find myself searching until I meet her emerald orbs. I know she still wanted nothing to do with me, and everytime I looked at her and saw the hurt in those beautiful eyes I hated myself a little more.
So when we walked off the plane and into the airport it came as no surprise to me that when our eyes met again, they still didn't shine with the brightness I had grown used to. I wanted nothing more than to take her in my arms, hold her close and tell her just how sorry I was.
I honestly had no explination as to why I did what I did other than the stupid fact that I was shit tanked. But that was a pathetic excuse, and I knew she wouldn't buy it. Her eyes left mine almost as quickly as they met and I watched her pull out her phone.
She looked so beautiful in a pair of sweat pants, a oversized hoodie and her hair in a disastrous bun. She could be wearing a sack and I would still want every part of her. When her head shot up quickly and she scanned the airport I frowned, who was she looking for? Was it her mum?
I remembered her telling me how she was excited to finally see her family again when we made it here to London. Finally her head stopped and her face broke out in a dazzling smile as she headed towards the left.
It took me a moment to realize that I knew who it was she was heading towards, Louis Tomlinson. Why the hell is he here? And why the hell is he here for Demi?
"Bro, are you okay?" Michael came into view with a confused look on his face. Thank you Mikey for interrupting me and keeping me from making a fool of myself.
"What? Yeah, I'm good. Let's go, I'm starving." Out of the corner of my eye I saw Demi wrap her arms around Louis and they walked out to the van together.
Why was she even with him? Even after I told her that he is a cheating scumbag she still decides to be seen with him. It made me want to pull my hair out from frustration and anger. I climbed in the van after Haley and sat in the back. I watched Louis freely touch Demi and it made my blood boil.
Taking a deep breath I placed my headphones over my ears and pressed play. I turned it up as loud as I could stand it as I let the lyrics to Hometown by Twenty-One Pilots drown out her giggles.
It felt like I was being watched after a couple minutes and it was pissing me off. My head whipped around quickly to send a glare to whoever it was but when I came face to face with those same green eyes my breath hitched in my chest and the scowl that was painted across my brow dissapeared in seconds.
In her eyes held this look, past the sadness and the hurt I saw what I hoped was longing. My heart beat was erratic as we maintained eye contact for longer than ten seconds. At that moment I looked at her with the upmost apologetic face.
Showing my own sadness as I tried to get her to see how sorry I was enough to make her actually talk to me. These past weeks were absolute torture, I woke up in the morning to a bed so cold it left me with chills for hours, even after Ive been up.
In the little time Ive known her and been with her I had come to the conclusion that I cared immensely for her and I didn't want anyone but her.
There he was again. Always interrupting.
Louis put his arm across the back of her seat, softly touching the back of her neck as he did so. That one small touch was enough to cause me to see red. So when the van came to a stop and everyone climbed out I had to wait.
I had to wait for them to dissapear from my sight before I was able to calm myself. Calum slapped me on the shoulder.
"Come on mate, lets get some pizza. Im fuckin' hungry."
A nod was my responce as I followed him inside.
