Chapter 5

Zelda's P.O.V:

I went to the infirmary to tell (Y/N) she could now leave the infirmary but she and...Link...were still sleeping, I clean my throat to wake (Y/N) up
"huh?" I covered her mouth and saw her eyes wide open, I rolled my eyes and pointed at Link. She nodded as I uncovered her mouth and left the infirmary with her.

"Nice way to wake up people, Zelda..." She said yawning "Sorry...I just...didn't want to wake up Link" I said "What's the big deal? Was he going to kill you or something" She laughed as I nodded 'no' "So you asked him in a date, huh?" She asked making my cheek burn "H-Hmm..." I stuttered "The Hero of Time and the princess of Hyrule..." She said making my blush huge "N-no! I...We have no time for that! His Majesty king Andrew will be here in a week! Besides, L-Link told me his plan. And he would never go out with me, I don't even like him anymore..." I excused "You're such a bad liar...Of course he would! But...he could be half in shock because of the way you asked him out" She laughed "No! He wouldn't!" I said "You're the only princess, the Hyrule princess, and he doesn't like anyone els-" I cut off before she could finish "He wouldn't. And for your information...He like someone else" I said looking away "W-who?" She asked "Well...it's a long story...kinda cute story to remember but really long" I sighed "Can I hear it? Please? Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" She asked with puppy eyes, I laughed and nodded a quick 'ok'

We sat in the royal couch (A/N: lol the royal couch!)
"It started when link was about 10...He was walking around Ordon, when he lived before moving to the castle...So I was saying? Oh yeah, he was walking around in the forest when he heard a ocarina, it was a beautiful melody..."

*~Link's P.O.V in the story~*

I looked up to see a girl sitting in the branches
"Hello?" I called, she fall off the branches startled and fall in my arms "S-sorry...I-I didn't mean to scare me...I mean you..." I stuttered, she was so beautiful and cute... "Hi...My name is Saria...What's yours?" She asked with the sweetest, softest, the most clear and beautiful- "What's your name?" She asked again "S-Sorry...M-my name is Link..." I murmured blushing "You're cute" She laughed jumping off my arms (A/N: Yes. In this story they have the same age...so...don't comment about it...) "You like to play ocarina?" She asked as I nodded "Good! I started learning so...Mind playing a song for me?" She asked as I quickly grabbed my ocarina and started trying to play the Song of Healing but...IT WAS GOING ALL WRONG! Her eyes and voice made my head spin... "Is that the Song of Healing?" She laughed "Here, let me help you." She said taking my hand making me tremble "Are you okay?" She asked "Y-yes..." I stuttered, she grabbed my hands and helped me playing the Song of Healing "Was it that hard?" She laughed "Huh...I don't know what's wrong with me...I couldn't play it right..." I stuttered she kissed my cheek making me blush a lot "See you around" She said.

*~Back to real life and Your P.O.V~*

"But well...the day came...and Link had to leave Ordon and go for his first adventure...It broke her heart...'Are you leaving already?' She asked 'Y-yes...Saria...I really like you and I will be back' He said 'Promise you'll be back in one piece!' She said hugging him 'Promise' He just ran off but sworn he would return to Ordon just to see her one more time...to be with her..." Zelda told me the entire story...I couldn't believe Link...He...I stood up and walked outside to find Link and Brom (A/N: We literally forgot about Brom XD) 
"Hi (Y/N)! I was looking for you!" Link said, he was about to hug me but I just took a step backwards "What's wrong?" He asked worried "I think you should go already..." I said coldly with no expression "G-go already?" He stuttered "What you mean?" He looked pretty confused "A little birdie told me you have a promise that you have to fulfill...And an old 'friend' waiting for you" I said, I could feel tears filling my eyes but I tried my best not to show how hurt I was "What 'friend'?!" He asked "Oh you don't remember? Well...Don't keep Saria waiting...your time apart can cause you a heart break" I said running off crying.

I sat in the edge of the fountain crying all out when I felt a hand in my shoulder, I looked up to see Brom...
"Hey...You okay?" He asked as I nodded a slow 'yes' "Are you sure? You don't look like you're okay" He said, why was he being so incredibly nice?! "I know I don't act like this many times but I was worried about you" He said as I frowned "Me?" I asked "Yes, and whatever it is, you can tell me" He said but I knew I couldn't "What was that about Saria? You know Link is also pretty hurt..." He looked at Link training with Master Sword "Even if he doesn't show it...I know him..." Brom said "You want to help me? So please just leave and I'll talk to him..." I said low, he nodded 'yes' and left.

I was just standing there watching Link when it started to rain...
"Link..." I called but he just ignored and kept his training "Link please...listen..." He dropped his sword but didn't move

*~Link's P.O.V~*

I dropped the sword...I didn't want Saria to come up again...it was getting cold once I was just standing there under the rain, she turned me and pulled me into a hug, I hugged her back
"Sorry...I didn't want Saria to come up..." I murmured "Perhaps...You like her too..." She said "I don't...We've been talking two years ago and she was so mad at me I didn't talk to her she just said she was gonna ignore me for the rest of her life" I said, I felt tears as I remembered our last conversation, I was glad it was rainy...that way (Y/N) wouldn't notice.
