Chapter 10: "Then she will get hurt"

As Glenn cut the gate, I couldn't stop smiling. 'I just kissed THE Daryl Dixon.' He was right behind me as I went through the fence.

I held the left part of the fence as Daryl climbed through. We both tied the fence together; occasionally rubbing hands together.

Once we finished, we started to sprint down to catch up with the others.

Once we got there, Rick said "Daryl and Carol, you two take the north tower. Maggie, Hershel, Lori, Carl, and Beth, you five distracted them. Glenn, you and me will kill the ones that get close to Taylor. She will run and close the gate."

"But she might get bi-" Glenn was interrupted when Rick said "She is already bit. And she is the fastest."

Daryl just huffed and asked "And what if she gets hurt even more?"

"Then she will get hurt."

I looked down and got ready. Rick handed me the thing to close the gate and Lori got ready to open the gate.
