Just an average girl
She always wore a smile
She was cheerful and happy for a short while
Know she's older, things are getting colder
Life's not what she thought, she wished someone had told her
Her Last Words ~ Courtney Parker
///////////////////////////////////////3rd Person POV
"Hey, Taylor?"
Asked Cody, Taylor's only best friend in 10th grade. She puts her last book in her backpack and said,
"Yeah?"
She zipped her backpack up and closed her locker. She turned around and looked at him. He pints at her arm and asked,
"What is that?"
She looked down and saw that her sleeve was down. She quickly pulled it down and stuttered,
"It's-It's nothing. It's my-my d-damn c-c-cat. She's vicious."
Taylor nervously laughs and Cody nodded. But her knew something was up, because she doesn't have a cat. He said,
"I joining the football team. Did I tell you?"
She took a deep breath and said,
"You just did."
They both laughed and she put on a fake smile, like she always did. As he was talking to her, the jock strutted down the hall and they spotted Cody. They said,
"Wassup Cody my man! Wait, why are you talking to her? The purple haired freak."
I looked down and I heard Glenn yell,
"Alright big people. Keep on moving. Don't you have practice to get too?"
They started to walk, one of them pushing me into the lockers. She sighed and they walked to the car that held their mom. She laid down in the back seat. And held back her tears.
They made it home and she ran into her room and closed the door. She threw the backpack on the floor and fell on the bed. Her emotions released and she sobbed violently. She covered her mouth so no one could hear her.
She started to ask,
'What did I do wrong? What happened to me? Is this real? Is this really happening?'
She grabbed her favourite stuffed animal, which is a frog. Her real mother have it to her on her first birthday. She put him down and walked to her bathroom. She sat on the toilet with a piece of paper and a pencil. She decided that tonight was the night. She was going to end it. All this hurt. All this sadness. Everything. She took a deep breath and began writing,
'Dear whoever reads this.
I'm tired. I don't have any motivation to get up in the morning. I say no to hanging out with the few friends that I have. I yell at people who don't deserve it. I get upset over the stupidest things. I cry much to often. I'm too irritable and snap at people to much. Most of the time I don't understand the things I do, or why I do them in the first place. Depression isn't something that just goes away over night, it's an illness. So mom, dad, Glenn, I'm so sorry. I hope that you understand why I'm so quiet at dinner, and why I don't like doing family activities. I'm sorry to anyone who doesn't understand. I wish I could let you inside my head because I feel like all of you see me as an over dramatic bitch. I'm just too sensitive. I can't help it. I just don't want to be this way anymore. I know that I'm being selfish, but it hurts too much to bear the pain. So I'm asking you for your forgiveness. I hope you understand.
-Taylor'
She took a deep and carefully folded up the note and walked out of her bathroom. She grabs on of her belts and ties it to her fan. She places the note in front of her and grabs on of her chairs from the corner. She stands on it and sticks her head through the hole. She closes her eyes and jumps. But she falls on the floor, making a loud thump. Derek and Meredith hear it, and they rush upstairs. They knock on her door, saying to her in a gentle voice,
"Taylor, are you okay? We heard a loud thump and we wanted to check up on you."
They heard crying and said,
"We're coming in."
They opened the door and gasped. They rushed over to her and took the belt from her neck and throws it to the side. Derek picks her up and takes her downstairs. He sits her on the counter and Meredith runs to get a rag.
She throws it at his and he quickly wets it with wet water. He dabbed it on her face and neck. She took deep breaths to calm down. Derek kissed her forehead and hugged her tight, but not as tight to hurt her.
Taylor sighed and played with Daryl's hair. She still had the note, and she was wondering if she should tell him.
