When I woke up I didn't know where I was, or what happened. The it hit me.
The earthquake.
The falling debris form the ceiling.
My mom.
Oh no my mom!
I got up off the floor and realized I had a pounding headache but I still raced back to the office. It had gotten dark outside and I'm guessing the earthquake knocked out all the lights because it was pitch black other than the little light the moon was giving. How long have I been out? Where were l the sirens because I can assume that my house and family weren't the only ones affected by the shaking. Right when I thought that I started to hear the sirens from ambulance and firetrucks. In stead of running back to my moms office I ran outside to call in medical help from people who actually knew what they were doing.
Oh my goodness...
My neighborhood was a disaster zone.
There were fallen trees, the streets were cracked open straight down the middle, and my house didn't even get the worst of it. Most houses collapsed in on themselves and even some have fallen through giant cracks running under, what use to be, people's houses.
Four ambulances pulled in my street and people started to run out the trucks. Where have they been?! I didn't have time to ask that question at the moment so instead I ran towards them.
"HELP!!! MY MOM IS IN MY HOUSE STILL!" I screamed as I was running towards them. But as I was running I tripped and fell, just like in those cheesy movies where they fall on random object, over a friggin scooter. I didn't
realized that the Spider-Man themed scooter was going to be the last thing I ever saw before I hit my head on the curb, blood going everywhere, and died....People say that when you die you are joined with family and friends that have died, but I was joined with Loki. How I was joined with Loki... I have no idea. He isn't even real and the actor that plays him isn't even dead! But I'm not complaining, I love Loki.
