Chapter 7: Explosions

I smirked as Gwen walked. She was limping, I fucked that pussy good.

''Stop laughing at me,'' she said as she turned around and scowled.

''I'm sorry, baby. You want me to carry you?'', I asked.

''Yeah, my pussy hurts,'' she pouted. Shit I didn't mean to hurt her.

''I'm so sorry baby. I didn't mean to hurt you, next time I'll be gentle,'' I said as I picked her up. Gosh I'm so fucking stupid. I don't know why I was being rough when she was for 1 pregnant and 2 she was small and fragile as hell.

''It's okay, I just need to take a bath with some Epsom salt and I should be alright,'' she said.

''Okay, I'll go run a bath for you, baby,'' I said as I laid her down on the couch. I went up the stairs and walked into our room. There was a box on the bed. I picked it up and opened it. It was pretty heavy and there was a note.

I picked it up and read it.

It was then that I heard the beeping and saw the clock. 6,5 I wasn't about to let it get to 4.

''Gwen Run,'' I yelled as I ran down the stairs. I swooped up Gwen on the way and ran out the house. The house exploded as soon as Gwen and I made it out, the impact caused us to push forward and collapse on the ground. There was smoke and debris all over. The house was completely destroyed. I looked around and saw Gwen on the ground clutching her stomach.

''Are you okay?'' I asked.

''Yeah, I'm alright,'' she said, wincing. We heard another explosion and the cars blew up.

''Let's go, baby,'' I said. I picked her up and ran to the pack house.

'Alpha is everything alright?', Thomas, my beta mind-linked.

'No, evacuate the pack house fast!', I said. I'm pretty sure that fucker had gotten there to.

'Yes alpha.' Thomas said as he cut off the link. We were almost to the pack house and I saw the pack in the woods. Well they moved fast. The pack house blew up into flames and we stood there watching. I'm just glad that no one was hurt.

''We are going to head up north, we will travel by wolf so I hope all of you are in shape. The children will shift too.'', I said. I looked around for our children and told them to come here.

''Follow me and your mother, do not dare disobey us. If anything happens or you see anything mind-link me. Do you understand?'' I asked. They nodded their heads and I commanded my pack to shift. We ran and ran for about a day at least. I decided that we would camp out at my friend Tenson's pack house. I knew it would be a surprise to him. I walked on to the territory explaining my reasoning and they let me in. I'm pretty sure they recognized me. Tenson came out and let us in. I was relieved. We would be leaving tomorrow. I had another pack house up north in Colorado. We all got settled in and Gwen, the kids and I were in the same room. I wanted to be able to watch over them. The children were all tired and worn out, they were on the bed sleeping.

''So do you want to tell me what happened or are you going to keep keeping things a secret?'', Gwen asked.

''I'm pretty sure you already know, but he's back and I think he has more people with him. We are going to try and track him to see where he is and who's working with him,'' I said.

''Maybe we should just give him what he wants,'' Gwen said, looking me in the eyes.

''That's not even an option. If you think that's going to make anything better it won't. I'll be hurt, the children will be hurt, and the pack will be hurt. It's not happening,'' I said.

''Loki I'm tired of running, when we both know how this is going to end.'' , Gwen said.

''Yes, it's going to end with those fuckers dead,'' I snarled.

''Loki just think about it,'' she said.

''I'm not going to think about it because it's not going to happen.'' , I said. Gwen just started crying and I held her in my arms.

''Babe just stop thinking about it so much. He's not going to have you, your mine and I will not surrender to him.'', I said.

''I'm sorry, it's just all my fault. If I would have never had s-

''Baby-'', I said.

''I'm so sorry,'' she said over and over again as she cried harder.

Well...... There will be a part 2 to this chapter. I just thought this was nice spot to end.
