"Which one of you is her father?" The man asked.
"That's actually what we came here for, I'm adopted and would like to know if this man is my birth father." I say pointing to Mikey.
"I'll have to get blood samples of you and Mr. Way. Please hand me your finger." He said, I gave him my finger and so did Mikey. We left the room and went into the waiting room.
"So," Geedad broke the awkward silence,"Mikey, if she is your daughter. Who will keep her?" Mikey's blank expression dropped.
"I-i guess it's up to Elena, gee. I can't make her love me, I get if she doesn't want me to take care of her." They are only saying this because they think I'm sleeping.
"Yeah, E, wake up sweetie. The doctor is coming." Geedad shook me 'awake'.
"I'm up, I'm up." I pretended to yawn.
"Mr. Way?" The man asked.
"Yes?"
"Would you and Elena please follow me?" We got up and he took us into the room we were in while he was taking our blood.
"Mr. Way, would you please tell me the mother of your child if she wouldn't have been adopted?" Mikey hesitated but then continued.
"H-her name w-was Emelus." (A. N. Okay, this is just a made up name so don't ask)
"No..." I whispered and that was all I remembered before everything went black.
