A/N
Eve's dress is attached.

After school the next day, I went to visit Danni.

"Hey, Av. What's that?" Danni asked, referring to the small parcel in my hands.

"Shhh. I'm smuggling you in a cupcake," I said as I walked over to the bed. "Lan baked them. Don't worry. I gave one to some girl in the hallway to make sure they aren't poisoned and she looked fine at school today."

"Avelon!"

"What? It is Lan."

She laughed and shook her head at me. "Which one is that again?" she asked.

"Um," I looked through the selfies the guys took on my phone during lunch, "this one." I showed her a picture of me and him sticking our tongues out at the camera.

"He's cute."

"He's got a boyfriend."

"Okay, then," she replied with a laugh. "What about the other two?"

"Well, one of them, Enzo," I showed her a picture, "is the one dating Lan. And this one is Tony." Tony was the hardest to get a picture of. The only one I have of him, thank god I managed to get a good one, was of him smiling. I snapped the picture just a split second before he realized I was taking it. He tried to take my phone from me to delete it but I locked it and wouldn't tell him my password.

"They're all hot. What the hell. Why couldn't there be guys like that when I was in school?"

I just laugh and shrug. Danni laughs with me with a huge smile on her face.

"So, how are you and Nik doing?" she asked.

"He's not- I'm not-" I sputter. "We're not together."

"Could've fooled me," she said with a smug smirk on her face.

I can feel myself turning bright red.

"Speaking of, has he asked you to prom yet?"

"I told you! We. Are. Not. Dating." I glared at her.

"But you wish you were," she concludes.

I sigh in exasperation. "Can you blame me? He acts like this cocky bad ass around everyone but when we're hanging out, he caters to my every whim. But then he flirts with other girls like I'm not even there so I don't know. I'm so confused, Danni."

"That's how boys are. Just give it some time. If actually asks you to prom then there's a chance."

I lay my head on her shoulder and just stay there for a while until I can feel her relax next to me. I can tell that she's falling asleep so I slowly get out of the hospital bed and quietly leave.

It's about five o'clock when I get home and Austin is sitting there watching TV.

"Are you ready to go?" he asks when he realizes that I'm there.

"Go where?" I ask.

"Prom dress shopping, remember?"

That's right. Aus has way more patience than Danni. I'm really picky when it comes to formal dresses so, he takes me instead of her. And considering prom is in two weeks, I should probably get a dress.

Aus grabs his wallet and we head out. We take his car and head to the bridal shop in the town square. He even scheduled an appointed for me.

"Avelon?" the lady at the front desk says.

"That's me," I reply with a smile.

"Right this way," she tells me, mirroring my smile. "Your name is really pretty by the way."
