Eliza's P.O.V
This week, school had been the best it had ever been. I got to know Ashton more and more, and even though Luke had refused to come near me, I think he was stopping his mates from coming near me either, which was always a plus."'Lizaaaa." I hear from behind me as I sat on one of the benches. I looked up to see Ashton slide in next to me. I smiled back at him before suddenly shivering from coldness.
Damn, why did I forget my jacket? God, I'm stupid.
"Aw babe, come 'ere and let me warm you up." Ashton cooed, before putting his arm around my waist and pulling me in closer.
"Thank you." I smiled sweetly at him before picking up my sandwich and taking a big bite out of it.
"Hungry, are we?" He laughed, before quickly stealing a bite of my sandwich, making me groan at him. Little bitch can go get his own food.

Finally, the last bell of the day went off and I gathered my things before making my way over to the car park to wait for Luke. Speaking of him, why hadn't he been talking to me? Assuming he was having his man period, I'd left him alone for a couple days but I needed to know if he was annoyed at me.
I guess I could confront him once we get home.

Luke's P.O.V
I hurried over to the car park once the bell rang. Though I might be annoyed as hell with Eliza, I still don't want to keep her waiting. I needed to continue to gain her trust back.Once I reached the car park, I unlocked the door and we both clambered in silently. It stayed that way for the rest of the ride home and I thought that this would end up as Day 8 of me not talking to her.
But she called out for me to stop for a second. I turned around, putting on a blank face.
"Luke.." She mumbled softly. "Why are you annoyed at me? What did I do?"
My heart almost shattered hearing her speaking in such a gentle, innocent tone.
"I-uhh... Let me restart. Directly after I saved you and invited you into my own home and you ditch me for a new guy the second we walk through the school gates?" My voice begins to raise slightly. "I'm trying to gain your trust, okay? What I did was unforgivable, yes! But at least I'm trying to make up for it!"
She was silent for a minute, before replying with, "I'm sorry, Luke" even quieter then before (if that was possible).
I stared directly into her eyes as I walked towards her and pulled her into a tight hug. She flinched slightly, before relaxing into my arms. Why did this feel so right?
She coughed slightly, pulling my attention back to her. "But Luke, Ashton is bisexual. He has a boyfriend." My jaw dropped in shock and she began to giggle, the sweetest thing my ears had ever heard.
"Oh my god, I'm such an idiot." I shake my head, trying to cover my face, red from from embarrassment. "I had no idea!"
She shakes out of my grip, laughs now pouring out of her mouth. I pout at her, before joining in with her laughter.
"So, how about I shout us milkshakes to apologise for being such a moody ass all week?" I question, smiling over at her.
"Sounds like a deal." She giggled back.

As we walked into the local diner, I made Eliza find a seat while I went up and ordered two milkshakes. I saw her disappear round the side of the café and once I picked up the milkshakes, I followed her around, sitting down next to her.
We had some small talk about classes at school until we decided to leave. I paid for the milkshakes then placed my hand on the small of Eliza's back, directing her to the door and pulling it open for her. All was well until I heard an all too familiar voice calling out to me.
"Luke? Is that Eliza?"
