"Give me Joker." I insist.

"Doctor Quinzel he is one of the most- no, no, no. The Joker is the most unpredictable patient we have here at Arkham Asylum. He has never even talked to any of the doctors that have worked with him. He-"

"I can make him talk. I believe that all of the other doctors who have worked with him have misdiagnosed him. Please just give me one chance with him; and if it doesn't work out I'll never ask again. I promise."

"Fine, Doctor Quinzel you may have one session with the Joker. When it doesn't work out don't come crying to me."

"I can assure you that it will work," I say with a small huff, as I turn away and walk out of the office.

I walk into the room where the Joker and I are supposed to meet. I see him lying down on the couch as two guards stand by the doorway, glaring at him. I sigh and wave them away. They walk out shrugging at each other. I turn to face the Joker.

"Hello, my name is Doctor Harleen Quinzel, but you can call me Harley Quinn," I say smoothly and the Joker starts laughing.

Then the unexpected happens. He tries to choke me. I don't flinch at all, I act like it's the most normal thing in the world. He looks at he then lets go of my neck.

"It's just a joke," he says with a twisted smile.

I laugh but I don't know why. He started laughing too. His laugh was like something I never heard before. It was... adorable yet creepy.

I sit down on the chair and as the Joker lies on the couch.

"So tell me about your childhood."

"Well Harley, my childhood was messed up. If I misbehaved, BAM! My father would punch me right in the face. And sometimes when I didn't even do anything, BAM! I'd get it." He says and I gasp.

How could someone do such a thing to his own kid? It's just so inhuman.

"There was only one time I was my father truly happy. He took me to the circus. One of the acts was clowns pulling each other's pants down. It was hilarious and it made my father laugh. So the next day when he got home I put his best pants on and when to him. I pulled the pants down and accidently riped the crotch clear out of them," he says with a laugh and I can't help but laugh with him.

"What happened after that?" I ask.

"He broke my nose." He says and I gasp. "That day I learned that you're always taking shots from people that don't get the joke, like my father or batman." He says.

Before I can manage to say anything the guards come in and take Joker back to his cell.
