Four Little Letters

Did she actually tell me she loved me? I thought I was only dreaming. After my heart monitor went crazy which turned out to be a small glitch, I couldn't stop thinking about her words. I don't think I was supposed to hear her, but I'm extremely glad I did. I requested to see her as soon as the nurses gave me the okay. They told me after a couple tests they would send her in.

I continued to bask in my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said while secretly hoping it was her. To my liking a pretty girl with long brown hair entered the room.
"Hello, beautiful." Callie blushed at my words and that made me extremely happy.
"Hey babe, how are you feeling?"
"Well there is something I need to tell you."
"Uh...okay? Is it bad?"
"No, it's not bad at all. I just wanted to say how glad I am that I found you and how extremely happy you make me. You have changed my life so much and words can't explain how much I need you. You give me something to look forward to everyday and I can't imagine life with out you." After my long speech I could see tears in her eyes.
"I missed you so much and you make me happy and-"
"Hey Callie?"
"Yeah?"
" I love you." At this point she had burst into tears. I had finally told her and it was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
"And I love you." She leaned toward on to my lips and lightly kissed me.
"I will always love you, Callie."
"God I love you so much."
"Always?"
"Always."

Wow. I can't believe I finally finished it.  Thank you for everyone that's been supporting me throughout the whole process. I know there are a lot of loose ends but I was running out of ideas for this story so I decided to cut it off short. I'm sorry for any errors and for my extremely long hiatus, but I really hope you enjoyed it. Thank you all so much!
xoxo,
Annika
